At least I did not recognize the e-mail name nor has anyone ever submitted anything under that name before, either. ~ Remember: The Poll ends tomorrow. COMMENTARY - The Monster Strategy Guide is coming. Sorry, I have been a tad bit busy lately, and not with just site related issues. LOL, MagicFox is trying to come up with a new schedule for her day ... hopefully I can follow it today. ^_^ I'm trying not to spend so much time on the computer and more time on my stories plus try to get some regular driving lessons in (I'm GOING to get a job this summer once I get my license). Oh! And tomorrow the current server provider goes down and I will have to reupload all of the files to the new server Josh has setup for us. CURRENT NEWS - HyperLink expressed two days ago that he would like for his fan-fic to be taken down, though he promises that he is currently working on a rewrite. ~ And I rearranged the Midi Lists a bit, only to the extent of moving the Exclusive Fan-Midis down to the bottom. I think the game music themselves should come first and those midis seem as if they belong in the Remixes.
COMMENTARY - I'm bored. Where's Starfe? I feel like working on the Z3 Monster Strategy Guide!! *Sigh* Progress isn't coming on the MM walkthrough. I'm working slowly but... I'm getting bored with it already. LOL ^_^ No, don't worry. Let me get away from it for a while and work on something more fun and then I will return to it. - Starfe!! Since you aren't on, here's your next project: go through the Z3 game and get new pictures of ALL the monsters mentioned in the guide!! ((I need to add the ones from the last few sections, too.)) No resizing or anything, just make sure there is very little edges around it and the edges around it are black or transparent. I wanna get back to work on that section!! I've put it off for too long and now I have everything I need for it!!

CURRENT NEWS - I have no idea why Doh didn't announce yesterday that his Item List for The Wind Waker is now up. I guess the duty falls to me, then (though I'm sure he'll come on again later and do it again). ~ Now, THIS is why the second Midi List is just as great. Unfortunately there are clips that I would like to have on MCLoZ but the Midi Player just couldn't handle them, but now with the second list you can download them and listen to them in your own player. First song to mention, ^_^ the ever popular and most hillarious Legend of Zelda song created by Rabbit Joint / Special Thanks to Mathew Moore who answered my request yesterday for this song clip. (Actually, I was looking for the low file wave but I suppose this is better than nothing. It's still low file.) Then I have added some clips that Sangokyu sent to me once through the mail and suggested that I might try to put them somewhere up on MCLoZ. I finally found a place for them Sango!! One is the Intro to the Zelda Cartoons (blast from the past) and then... at least this was according to Sangokyu, the other is a sound clip from the Original LttP Commercial (in Japanese). ...Uh... it's ^_^ interesting, too... LOL. Not that I doubt Sanogkyu's sources but since he originally thought that the cartoon was also a commercial ... if anyone can disprove that this second clip is not from a commercial (or for LttP) then please tell me and I'll make ammends.
COMMENTARY - No offense, Sangokyu!! Just in case, you know. I don't wanna be accussed of releasing false information. Misinformed information is so MUCH better. I don't get yelled at by 200 rabid MCLoZ fans (one of which is the ever vigilent HyperLink). So, anyways, I guess that's it for the moment. Please enjoy these new sound clips. I will add more as I'm sure they are going to be sent to me. Tata, everyone!!

CURRENT NEWS - ::Grins:: What is the purpose of Midi List 2? Well, the occassional person complains that the Midi Player doesn't work or this or that person wants to download the midis. -But that's what the .zip files were for, right?- Yeah... but, you want to know what I have to do for those zip files? Rename the midis so people know what the are (1 hour chore depending on how many midis are there) and then zip them up, load them up and then look for any possible errors. Which is why I never got around to adding the new midis into them. With this new list, it's set up the exact same way as the original list, the only difference is, it opens into a new window and is the midi itself, not an html file. To do this I copy and paste midi list and then in wordpad go to "Replace" type in the stuff I want replaced with what I want it replaced with. Click "Replace All" and I'm DONE!! Load up and that's it!! To get that list ready it took me two minutes. I'm lazy so I'm going to go with that. So, for those of you who want all of the midis, I'm afraid you are the ones that can't be lazy. You will just have to dl them individually yourself. Look on the bright side - you don't have to wait for me to update the zip files now.
COMMENTARY - I'm working on HyperLink's walkthrough piece. There was just a slight problem that forced me to stop work while I wait for him to send an image, so I decided to fiddle around some more with the site. Those midis have been on my mind for a while now. Also... I was going to put up that funny yet kewl wave of that Zelda song (actual singing) but... I seemed to have lost that disk with that midi on it. That was the only thing not loaded to the site so no biggie, the disk isn't a total loss, but, if anyone has that wave around, would you care to send it in? I would love to place it up for everyone to dl it. "Link has come to town..." ^_^ ::walks off singing::

CURRENT NEWS - The thumbnails for the new Beta Zelda Files are now up. However, there was one small problem with File 35. For some reason, Starfe's imager wouldn't open it properly so he was not able to make a thumbnail of it. *Sigh* I guess I will look for another image of that particular scene (don't worry, there's plenty). However, I probably will have to rewrite the first part of my comment *sigh* :( since it won't go with the view. Oh well ^_^ MagicFox's jokes are lame, anyway, no big loss, huh? - Or maybe I'll make a new one.

As soon as Starfe gives me those thumbnails I will update those bars, I PROMISE! ~ How do you like The Wind Waker's new introduction image? ^_^ That's Fire Link's hard work! He's going to create one for each game to replace those intro pictures. Nice, yes? COMMENTARY - Anyone notice the down time this morning? I know me and HyperLink did. I talked to my host, the almighty Josh, who really had no clue. He didn't do anything and so forth and on. However, it looks like we don't have to worry about it anyway. He couldn't log into his files (or something) went looking for the cause and... ::blinks:: OH NO! ::Pouts:: His service FeaturePrice is going down in 8 days!! *Insert rude insult* didn't even have the curtousy to e-mail him about it!! No, no panic necessary. He already put in a new order for another service which should be up like tomorrow. Honestly, I don't know if there will be any downtime. CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ It's about time that someone found a glitch in The Wind Waker, and maybe someone can end up duplicating it. NO GAME can be without a few glitches, no matter what Nintendo says! ~ I have changed my affiliates policy again, but this time, to what it was before. It was just aggrivating having to check visits and... there's a lot of nice sites that don't get the visits they want. However, I can't affiliate with every single site so I'm going to be quite a bit more strict that I was, I just won't check the visits is all.

CURRENT NEWS - Marc, Marc, Marc... ^_^ ::Laughs:: Thank you, Marc!! How's it feel to know you contributed enough to make a full update for MCLoZ? ~ Well, there is one thing I did want to address. I have gotten about.. four or so LILoT (Link's Infinite List of Torture) Items in the mail today that... weren't for the Ocarina of Time. Actually, they were mostly for The Wind Waker but one was for Majora's Mask. Sorry but... the LILoT page is for Ocarina of Time ONLY!! Quite honestly, it's not in my plans to really open the section up for other games. Perhaps I might if enough people ask me to (that means sending e-mails saying "Open this up for other games, Magicfox") but... ^_^ I would rather see more serious sections like the Oddities page growing. This page offers fun and interest at the same time.
COMMENTARY - Now for the commentary, huh? *Sigh* My sister hogged the computer for about the entire evening. ::Pouts:: Oh well, I spent an hour of that time actually doing something constructive. ^_^ I spent it watching Shrek (can't get enough of that movie!) and working on the MM Walkthrough! So, I might actually have an installment in fairly sooner than I thought. ...Ok... maybe not... I spent more time watching the movie than working ^_^ But, you get the idea anyway. CURRENT NEWS - Actually, I'm trying to get another staff member set up who will do the Oracle of Ages walkthrough and also get Tidus's walkthrough up ((*cough* it is up... he just hasn't announced it and gave his final decision on whether he likes how it looks)). ~ Alright, so, I'm fighting to keep my work caught up with my staff so... what am I going to do. I'm working on the MM walkthrough a little bit at a time, but my next update will more than likely be more pictures for The Beta Zelda Files!! We haven't had a few in a while, though before the server went down I promised some. So, Starfe will be receiving a zip file soon of pictures to make thumbnails of and I will be working on the file information. Might take a few days to say the least. So... in that time, I will only be showing up occassionally to post Oddities and LILoT Items.
COMMENTARY - *Sigh* I'm not going to get anything done much this week. It's spring break so I don't get the house to myself and then Monday night my sister has a friend coming down from CT to visit her hear in GA!! ::Glares:: And I hate this particular friend of hers. I'm using my guide and the game for support to help me along as I write but it still doesn't make it much easier. Not to mention I've never written a walkthrough for a 3D game! *Sigh* More coming later...

I got a few staffing things in the mail but even still those usually take a few days after, so I'm not going to count those, but I'm in the mood for some more midis. Those current midis are getting a bit boring and it's bugging me that I don't have a lot of tracks filled in. So expect some music... CURRENT NEWS - ::Shrugs:: I was surfing other Zelda sites because I'm on the wrong computer (yeah, we have two and this one doesn't have my website stuff on it). And I've noticed that any number of sites have a Zelda Timeline. Veterans to the site know me, I don't believe in the Zelda Timeline. OoT to me was a recreate of LttP as well as the Oracle series and the only sequals are those on the NES, LttP to LA, and then those on the N64, and the Oracle series of course. After that there is no connect, that's how I feel. However... I was talking with someone the other night (don't ask me who, I talk to so many) and we came up to the point that what I feel is not what my viewers always feel and I really should have SOMETHING.
::Taps her foot:: Ok, so I should have SOMETHING. So... now I suppose I come to two choices. 1: The first person I meet gets to put their timeline up and I guess that's it. ... So... what makes this person's idea so much better than that person's? Trash that idea. 2: Let everyone submit something. ...Uhh.. Do I have enough room for all of that?? And then with some of these uneducated people... I'm sorry, I don't want to edit things like that. I can just imagine this. So... what do I do??
Surfing the web I got a bit of a small bright idea. I don't know if it will work out but ::shrugs:: why not? The idea came a little with Doh's monthly Investigations. ^_^ What if we have something like that only investigating this timeline thing. So, there I can have fans submit something and some appointed staff person who wants to do this can sift through these ideas, choose the best and post it up for that month with some comments of his own up and we do this each month (idea subject to change of course). Problem being... I have enough to do as well as most of my staff. So, I'm going to be looking for one person who is interested in this to sign up in the Join the Staff section.
Warning: I will NOT accept just anyone. It's not going to be like how I choose other staffing members. I'm looking for someone that can EDIT their own stuff as well as talk legibly as well as be dedicated to their work as well as know what the heck they are talking about. So, you fill out the form and I will place you up on my IM box and the next time I see you on, we'll chat. If I don't accept you, I don't accept you. If no one applies, no skin off my back, I don't even believe in this whole stupid thing.

CURRENT NEWS - ::Shakes her head:: I don't know what's wrong with them. So, instead of fixing the problem, I bypassed it. I set something else to the e-mail feature and placed the fill in box for your e-mail under another title. ::Laughs:: If you don't understand this, don't worry about it. Just suffice it to say that you can now fill out the form if you have a @hotmail.com account and I also noticed that if the e-mail box was not filled in I wasn't getting anything, that's also fixed with this feature.
COMMENTARY - Needless to say, if you have recently filled out a form with a hotmail e-mail account or leaving that space blank you will now need to refill the form out. I'm sorry, I really am. I don't know what happened to it. Hosted Scripts must have made an update that screwed everything up because it USE to work properly (I checked it thoroughly when I put the first form up because that's just me - worry body). So, everything's fixed. -- HyperLink, you can now fill out the forms without worrying ^_^.

CURRENT NEWS - I have received e-mails from at least three people so far stating that they have a filled out a form ::blinks:: and yet... I did not receive it. What's going on? Actually, I didn't realize it until a few seconds ago when the third person contacted me. For some god unkown reason the form will not send to my e-mail box if you fill out the e-mail box with an @hotmail.com account name. All three of these people have a hotmail account and I have tried filling out the form myself with a hotmail account name and then an aol account and I only received the aol account. What is wrong is beyond me I will look into it, until then, people that have a hotmail account... leave the form blank and place a note down at the bottom of the comments box telling me so.
COMMENTARY - Just in case you didn't get it above: if you have a hotmail account and are filling out a Join the Staff form, a Oddity form, or a Link's Infinite List of Torture form DO NOT put in your e-mail address in the appropriate box. I'll look into the problem.

CURRENT NEWS - ::Nods:: Ok, Tidus, who might announce himself later, has just joined our staff. ^_^ Finally it looks like I got a decent News Reporter. His first article at least was interesting. I guess we'll see how he works out, and with E3 coming up soon he'll have plenty of chances to prove himself. ~ That's it for News Reporters. I have three and I think that's all I really need. At any rate I need other positions filled in. I started my MM walkthrough yesterday so I have taken that down from the Staffing choices as well. Wish me good luck on that. ~ In other news: Zelda Domain, one of my affiliates and good friends, asked me to advertise his newly opened boards! Good for him!! They are all 100% his and they look kewl ;). Once Starfe finishes with the section dividers we'll move on to our own. I don't know what's up with Josh at ACO but his boards have been down for a while *sigh*.

CURRENT NEWS - For starters Doh has sent in the Instruction Booklet story for the Wind Waker intro page. And therefore I moved the Preview Pamphlet items to their own page as a permanent part of MCLoZ. This is only the start as Doh is just now playing the game. CURRENT NEWS - As I mentioned earlier this morning I revamped the Zelda Secrets and Oddities page ever so slightly. I gave it a new intro and I gave it some jump links down to the games you want to read about as well as jumps back up to the top so you can reselect a different game. ^_^ I hope you like it.
COMMENTARY - Doh sent in some stuff for The Wind Waker which I will put up soon. ::Blinks:: Hold on... I didn't think that Doh would get his game until May (a fact I was slightly worried about and having doubts). I guess since he pre-ordered it he got it early? ::Shrugs:: Whatever. ^_^ I'm just glad he got it. Now... if I could get a walkthrough writer my life would be perfect... someone signed up for it today, let's hope he comes through for us!! Angel also sent in her newest Game Review. I will try to get it up today (it's what I'm working on next) so expect him to update either today or tomorrow sometime (depends on when I get it done). CURRENT NEWS - Saddly The Eighth Sage has just informed me that he will not be able to fulfill his promise of doing the Master Quest walkthrough due to some understandable complications. So he will just be a Game Reviewer (maybe in the future he will be able to try to help with something else). Anyways, a number of people had previously submitted forms for the Master Quest walkthrough. If those people are still interested please fill out the form again and I will be glad to give you a chance (fill out the form and I will give you information that pretty much says you need to turn in a portion of your walkthrough completed from the beginning through the Deku Tree... "ONLY" please. I don't want you doing the entire thing and then not have me accept you. Remember, maps earn you extra kudo points though they are not required.)

CURRENT NEWS - ::Nods:: Here goes. I cleaned out the staff yesterday of those that had not turned in anything at all or in a very long time. ::Shrugs:: Sorry guys but I told you how it was going to be and you didn't change. Farewell to: Mike, Tiger, Skullrama, MZM, and Pluto. ~ Now, since Skullrama, MZM, and Pluto were the only others besides me and Starfe doing the anime review section (and the both of us have been busy with other things) there was no one to take care of that section. And furthermore the section was pathetic and many felt that it just didn't belong anyway, so, there will be no more anime reviews. If you would like to talk about anime you can still do so at our forums but MCLoZ will no longer be hosting it (whether or not I change my mind in the future is something that cannot be fortold at this time). ~ In place of it I decided that the game review section needed a bit more publicity than the simple one link we had up. ^_^ There's quite a bit of stuff and hopefully this way it gets a bit more attention (though I'm sure many already did enjoy it). I think it looks nice like that.
COMMENTARY - If anyone would like to voice complaints about what I have done, please do so. CURRENT NEWS - ::Laughs:: Actually, #37 in LILOT is the same as "The Horse Trick" in the Oddity page. It's a pretty good trick that has to do with killing Link and using a glitch. Pretty kewl, so go check it out!! ~ *Sigh* Happy belated Birthday to (Maxim) Starfe the Deathwind. I sorta forgot about it like on March 31st and all. Let's see... he signed up on that date 2001 making him 2 years old now, though I would say it is three if you discount his hoax. Either way, the site's been up for three years and well ^_^ he's definitely been around the longest. And he's still as lazy and egotistical as ever. ::Re-reads his post:: You're full of it Starfe. Now, get to work on those section dividers and Fire Link is now working on some proper intro images for the Zelda game sections, so both of you now have something to do to make yourselves useful. ^_^

Im gonna tell all of you, but on the
29th of March it was a glorious day in history.
That was the day, that 2 years ago
a wonderful man joined the staff.
His name, was Maxim Starfe The DeathWind.
COMMENTARY - Well, its a hillarious story of hillarity and....
General mayhem. You see, spring break had
rolled around an a certain Arek the
Absolute/Habaruku/Bill had decided it was
time to have a little fun/payback.
You see, Max had been leading everyone
on for quite a while with "staff members"
that were really just her impersonating
imaginary people. It was spring break and
I had a lot of time on my hands so....
.....I made up a fake identity, got a new email,
new AIM name, disapeered off the scopes of people
who knew me by my old names. I became a British
high school student who went by the name
Maxim Starfe, or as Max shortened me too, Starfe.
I began work on the site after sending in
a game review example and a graphic example.
She took me in automatically.
Little did she know.... Hahaha!
For like 2 weeks I led her on before we got into a conversation about this guy she used to know, which was me. I tried to steer the conversation in different directions but it stayed there. And she found me out. Of course I recently got her back when I told her I had known her FULL IRL NAME FOR QUITE SOME TIME! BA HA HA HA HA HA!
So yeah, 2 years later I still remain large and in charge here at MCLoZ. Im really the webmaster, Max is just cover. Bah ha ha ha ha ha ha. I am awesome arent I. Now we're cooking with GAS!
And to finish this GRAND AND AWESOME commentary.

CURRENT NEWS - Ok, for the first one, the general first of the month stuff where MagicFox moves all updates from last month into the archives. It's for those who missed something from last month or for nostalgic people like me or for me to know when and how I did something that I might need to do again. ~ ^_^ We have a new submitter to the Oddities page.. Jeremy Yerkes. And his oddity is good and is mostly for the GBA edition of LttP (untested for the SNES version). HyperLink, a not so new name ;) and that's just as kewl has also submitted yet another interesting oddity. ~ And then Link's Infinite List of Torture continues to grow - MWHAHAHAHAHA! ~ I change the Zelda Poll so be sure to vote (read more about the question in the commentary section of this update). ~ And I'm asking yet again that anyone who has played The Wind Waker to please submit a Join the Staff form if they are interested in writing our walkthrough!! ~ And then I have decided that since some people only visit certain pages (either because of the search engines list that first or because it's their favorite growing page) that now I will put the Random Fan Reviews of The Wind Waker on EVERY page and not just on the front page. Maybe this will get it some more attention. If it doesn't I think I have another idea for that box anyways.
COMMENTARY - The Zelda Poll question has to do with who is a girl video game player and who's a boy. ^_^ I'm interested in knowing just HOW MANY girls actualy play video games and make it to my site. I know of myself, Angel, and Dark Grapefruit. There's three... That's a rather disappointing number as opposed to all the guys that I know. So... SPEAK UP GALS!! ^_^ Let's count heads. I'm just interested. ::Laughs:: Those that are veterans to my site know how much of a big deal I make about this. CURRENT NEWS - In a press conference today in England, Shigero Miyamoto has said that he has switched religeons and will no longer continue the Zelda series. That means the next Zelda game developed by Capcom will be scrapped. This is a dark day for Zelda fans indeed.
COMMENTARY - Why Shigero? Why?!?
You made the best Zelda games and you had to stop? Why?
I guess my Wind Waker will mark the last Zelda game in the series, and MCLoZ will be forever a site on games no longer out. This is Sangokyu.
