CURRENT NEWS - Alright, got some good stuff added to the site. Most of all ^_^ my walkthrough is complete. Complete by not finished. Time for me to go through and correct all the errors and then me and Starfe will get to work on the Z3 Monster Strategy Guide ~ Some time today I will start The Zelda Scrambler. I was going to do it this morning but a few things happened to make that impossible and I don't feel like doing it just yet (see Commentary for more info). ~ Important: "MagicFox, what's with the sudden and most horrifying warning that MCLoZ will be closed the 17th?!" It's temporary, I promise you. The reason? Well, I have made no secret of the fact that being a newbie to SSI HTML coding when I made this design... I screwed up... several times. Before, I did go through and parially correct my mistakes just to add a simple banner up. However as I look at the design there are sometimes things I would like to do to make it a little bit better. Anyways, this 17th I will temporarily shut down the site to correct those SSI problems. "Why do I have to shut down the site? Can't I just do that stuff and leave the site up and running?" Unfortunately, the way SSI works, you can't see the effects unless the site is being run by a server that reads SSI. So, unless you want to see my rediculous mistakes, many of which will more than likely effect viewing and reading, I must take the site down. IT WILL ONLY TAKE ME A FEW DAYS!!

COMMENTARY - What came up that kept me from updating this morning? ::Points a finger at the little beagel-dog sitting beside her chewing on one of his toys:: We keep him in the yard with an electric fence ... Blou decided today he would be Brave Wonder Dog and ran through without even a yelp and decided to go touring the neighborhood. Since Mum has work and my two other sisters go to school... guess who got elected to go retrieve him. I HATE DOGS!!! He gave me an hours' worth of looking for him and then chasing him trying to get him and put him on his leash to drag his butt home. I got my front dirty just by jumping at him and catching him. What I plan to do at 7 in the morning is NOT chasing a dog. You try riding a bike and running for a dog when you are half asleep, your clothes are what you wore yesterday, hair not even brushed, no socks on wearing flip flops, a light coat, and let's not add on the fact it was COLD out this morning. ::Glares at Blou:: STUPID DOG!!

CURRENT NEWS - It took me quite a while today mostly because I was lazy and took a lot of breaks watching anime ::laughs::. However, tomorrow first thing I will finish it up! That I can promise you!! ~ Also, don't forget that tomorrow I will start The Zelda Scrambler so look for an update on that. THE ZELDA SCRAMBLER WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS/FORUMS UNDER THE SECTION "ZELDA TALK"!!!. It's a fantastic game, you can come in at ANY time to play it and it's trivia based only on 8 known games (I haven't played TWW so I can't do Scramblers on that, nor will there be any Master Quest Scramblers). Basic overview: I give you a scrambled up Zelda word/phrase/sentence/"anything" and you have to solve it with only three hints and a fourth hint by popular demand that pretty much gives the whole thing away. Example Scrambler: ELAZD. Answer: Zelda. However, the real thing will be far more complicated, of course. Note: actually, The Zelda Scrambler will be first thing. Don't worry, it shouldn't be too difficult. It will start early during the day but like I said you can come in at any time and/or leave at any time. Points are given to whoever gives me the answer first. And some Scramblers are worth more points than others depending on difficulty/freebies.

COMMENTARY - ::Blinks at Doh's comment:: Try to write a commentary as long or longer than mine. ::Goggles:: I don't think that's possible. ^_^ You should go through the archives. I've written some LONG ones. MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! No one can talk more than me!! I'm am the Queen of Talk!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!! ((::Glares at Starfe:: Ok, I know your comeback to that. It will be something around the lines of "too bad you never have anything to say" or it could be "Forget it! I talk more than you." It depends on your mood but one of those is correct. *Sigh* I know you far too well. ;) But believe me, BOTH of those statements are false!!))

CURRENT NEWS - Shigeru Miyamoto - the man himself responsible for the Zelda games - has recently confirmed that Capcom (the wonderful crew who gave us the Oracle Series) is hard at work at a tenth Zelda game that will be for the Gameboy Advance system. It may even be possible that it will show up in E3 this May, but that hasn't been confirmed (though miss a chance to show off a game - I don't think so!). We'll see I guess.

COMMENTARY - ::Nods:: I don't know where my News Reporters are but if I have caught a bit of news I'm afraid I'm just NOT going to wait around for them. CURRENT NEWS - Alright, the most important thing on that list is Dark Grapefruit's rather interesting oddity ^_^. Someone decided to take that "Play With a Sword of Shield" glitch to the extreme and this is something they found. ~ Yet again *sigh* I change the staff page. Oh come on, you know that page is going to be changed 100+ times before I'm fully satisfied with it... and I'm still not. ::Shrugs:: I'll get there eventually, but this is what it will stay at for now. ~ You will notice that at the left the "E-Mail the MCLoZ Staff" section under Affiliates and Stuff has been edited. Now it only shows the positions that most people are interested in e-mailing. I e-mailed my staff about this change and those that replied did not mind it. I'm still waiting for others to reply and if they give it the negative I guess I will put them all back up again. But this way the list is nice and short.

I did not check yesterday's mail unless it came from my staff. Sorry but I had a reason. I did not want to check Affiliate Forms and mail them. I will mail them back today though if I received any. Why? Because I'm changing my policy that's why! Ok, yes, I know it's not on the whole very fair but ::shrugs:: I'm going to require a visit count now of 200+ visitors average making exceptions only for those who are in the high 100s. Why? Because those sites that I like to affiliate with anyway I like to make sure are running nice, have lots of content up, don't receive bad reputation, and well... let's face it. If your site is doing well that means you are going to get lots of visits!! ::Points to her "Links to Related Fan-Sites" section:: I will clean this up a little and heighten the count requirement so that way more people can sign up for this page, too. ::Shrugs:: Don't hate me. I could be requiring higher. My friend Josh requires 500 uniques.

COMMENTARY - Now see, this is the kinda stuff I wanted to change. ::Mutters:: I have one more thing to do. The WebMaster of Zelda Central keeps suggesting I have Meta Tags. CURRENT NEWS - I must apologize to my staff. I am sorry for having thought of ever losing any of you and for changing any of my website's ways. I took the advice from a what I thought was a good friend and thinking his advice might perhaps be correct.. ::laughs:: clearly I was mistaken. ::Shakes her head:: No, I will not shut down the anime section nor will I shut down the Gaming section to Zelda staff only. ^_^ They will continue to proper and the next person that says my staff is too big I will tell them to go to hell!! (Excuse me for cursing.) Hrrrm, however, ^_^ I think that policy on required updates once a month is a good one to have at the very least, so I will keep that. It still leaves much lee-way and I still say that if you have any problems life-wise, e-mail me explaining and I will mark it in my staffing book.

COMMENTARY - ::Laughs:: It's funny how one person you look up to can change your decision even when your heart isn't into it. I think I just about made the worst mistake of my life and I only thank God that I was able to see how wrong the person was in time. ::Hugs her staff, especially Sangokyu and Angel:: These two said something very precious to me, though I don't think they figured it at the time. Sangokyu's is "I think also that the Game and Anime reviews should be back up. I think they are as part of MCLoZ as much as Zelda is." and here's Angel's in an e-mail to me "I didn't know that you would change your site because of what someone else thinks." ^_^ THANK YOU GUYS!! All of you work really hard and those two sections make up MCLoZ as much as anything else does. I'm not going to drop either one of them for the sake of one or two people.

CURRENT NEWS - My next update will probably take a while since it will be for The Beta Zelda Files, so be patient. ~ Sheik didn't announce the completion of his walkthrough any yesterday so it fell to me to do it. ^_^ It's all up there. Check it out! ~ ::Glares at Sangokyu:: I had not been intending to announce anything on this "behind the scenes" matter without first hearing everyone's opinion and making a final decision. Read the commentary for the full matter.

COMMENTARY - ::Nods:: I have been thinking about ways to improve the staff. ::Glares at a few noteables who knows who they are:: At any rate, it was brought on by a fews' complaining so I'm just thinking. No promises or anything. What I was thinking is being slightly more stringent with what I expect of my staff - no problems here ^_^ an update once a month at least was what we decided on was best. However, the Gaming and Anime Review sections I have been thinking of closing down. Skullrama, so far, has spoken out against the closing of the Anime Review section, I have yet to hear Pluto's. However, I really am thinking of closing it down... maybe keeping it open long enough to launch another idea "MAYBE". However, the section is just not doing too well and I can't do it as I would like. But for the Gaming section, I don't think I will close it so much as I will limit it: those with a Zelda position can submit game reviews if they want to. But ONLY if they have a Zelda position. ::Shrugs:: These are just ideas I haven't decided anything on them which is why I hadn't wanted to post anything about the matter on the site. ::Glares at Sangokyu:: But apparently someone didn't catch that idea when I didn't put up any comments about it and had carefully hid the lack of updates that day with the simple statement "taking care of a few off-site matters".

Do you people really enjoy sending things so terrible in the grammar area that it should be more than an embarrasement to yourselves? ::Shakes her head:: I can understand putting in internet language or even slang and even typos and the occassional misspelling and inproper grammar where you're not sure how it's done, but when everything starts looking like this: gohearforthisthengo their forthat.dOn'tferget thatether. And I'm NOT joking ^_^ people send this kind of stuff in to me. No offense but, that doesn't look like they even made it to a grade 2 education. ::Laughs:: I have to say that I do get a lot of enjoyment out of seeing this, but PLEASE, especially when you send in things like Oddities and so forth, could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE act like you have a 7th grade education? I've had to return several oddities and other things to people because I just couldn't understand them enough to edit them. CURRENT NEWS - I've found a good site which tells you of all the items used in OoT. It would be good if I got permission and Maxine's approval to put it on this site.

COMMENTARY - I have been recieving e-mails from people asking me silly questions like "Where do I get the sword on OoT?". If you read the walkthrough and use the format Maxine MagicFox has used, it is clearly stated in "The Beginning".

Some people also have been sending me viruses and I just want to tell them.

I have a virus scanner and I know who you are, so if you try it again your e-mail is going to be deleted.

Also, if you have any ideas, compliments, questions, complaints of the site, my walkthrough, or staff, Im sure that there is a link where you can forward your thoughts to.

CURRENT NEWS - Just a quick few second update before I rush off to do more. The Eighth Sage (old staff member Darian) has rejoined us, at the moment only a Game Reviewer, though he might be turning in walkthroughs for the Master Quest and The Wind Waker later on. He will, hopefully, introduce himself more in his own update - so far no new staff member has come on just to say hi like that *sigh*. ~ Alright, and I have another Game Reviewer coming to join us soon. So, in total, that makes six Game Reviewers - there are more in the staff, yes, but they participate in this only in addition to their "Zelda" positions - and six is all that I think I will take in for the Reviewing positions. My current staff can try their hand at any time but no one may sign up for it as a "sole" task. I know many will have arguments about that but these two reviewing positions were originally made for the staff as "fun time wasters" for us. So, how can you expect the job to reopen? One of those six either takes a Zelda staffing position or one of them drop off the staff.

COMMENTARY - Alright, that's all I wanted to say. I need to go do TES's review and some more of Sheik's walkthrough. Tata!!

MagicFox's reply: (I thought it kinda pointless to make an update about this.) However, Doh and you are both News Reporters, hon'. That left bar only says the most prominent thing that you are responsible for on the site (and usually that's the first thing you signed up for). CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Pikminlink asked me to change his e-mail link that was displayed in the gallery, so if you all want to e-mail him, be sure to use that address. ~ ^_^ C's Oddity is a glitch that most people should know. And Ally N's is just one that really can't be explained and sounds extremely strange ::laughs::. Check them both out!! ~ Sangokyu has contributed a map to his walkthrough that I will be posting up soon... either tonight or tomorrow. We'll see.

COMMENTARY - As MCLoZ gains more and more popularity I find that a number of things are being brought up to question. Nothing serious or anything ^_^ just some things that I have a few strict ideas on. The most important will come last.

First: Buying a domain and/or making money off of MCLoZ. No, I will not do either. I would love to have a domain name but those cost money that I don't have nor am willing to put into my leisure site. I'm glad that you all love it that much and I'm sure it would contribute more popularity but MCLoZ is a simple pasttime project of mine that I work on for pleasure. This same principal can be used for making money off my site. If I want money I'll go out and earn it by working hard at a regular job. Furthermore the content of this site isn't mine to make money off of. It belongs to Nintendo. The answer is strictly NO!!

Second and the final thing, and some people have even ticked me off because of this. Yes, I realize my staff is big. I like it that way. No, it is NOT too big. And NO!! I WILL NOT make any cut backs by dumping those members that so far have contributed nothing and/or are lazy. Honestly, none of them are. They have each contributed something very nice and that is why they are on the staff. If they are slow it is because they have lives. They go to school. They have friends. They like to attend social activities. They get sick. Even I am not 100% devoted. I do not breathe MCLoZ 24 hours of the day. Honestly, when I'm off the computer I leave behind the name MagicFox and all that applies. Every once in a while if I am really addicted to a project I'll give everyone an extra thought just as I'm doing right now about writing one of my stories or playing a video game. And I INSIST that my staff does the same. I do not give duedates for anything, I permit them to take weeks off if they have exams - heck, last year Doh got the like 3 months off to finish the end of the school year. ALL of my staff is as devoted as me and I will NOT kick them off so easily ... unless you are like Skullrama ^_^ who has been on for a year and hasn't contributed one thing, but even then I threatened him that if February came around and I still had nothing, I would kick him off. ^_^ And Lo and Behold, he is still with us.

I am enjoying the popularity of my site and I'm glad that everyone loves it and I'm sure my staff loves it just as much as I do and you do. They sent in the forms and they submitted their qualifying material which therefore means that they are determined to be as dedicated to the site as possible. I will continue receiving staff, however, I do have a limit set with the Reviewing and News Reporting positions, and if you visitors do not like it ::shrugs:: then why are you here? I'm the WebMaster, owner, and the one who came up with and started this project: this is my site. Besides, why all of the complaints?? The more staff members the more things get put up and the bigger MCLoZ will become. I don't see the problem.

CURRENT NEWS - Alright... so what's the big deal? I made you guys wait for days for... this... *Sigh* What I had initially worked on was a lot more complicated than this. However... today I decided that, though it might look great... perhaps it's a little OVER extravagant. So, I'm going to keep that design in my files and wait until the comments start flowing in and then am forced to place everything into the design. Alright people! Start sending in comments. And a note to how they will be arranged - by file number, not by "when they were sent in". Also, I edited the beta intro (a bit longer ::shrugs:: you'll live) and it basically now says that I am accepting beta images from any fan that wants to send them in. If two fans send in the same picture sorry, only the first persons' name will go up. You may even contribute an image that does not currently have a gallery (no Wind Waker images, please). Though, I doubt that's going to happen. These three games are really the only ones that are noted to have been so carefully "tracked" by fans.

COMMENTARY - ::Grins:: Want to know how I know? ^_^ And why MagicFox has not really updated all today. ::Spins around in her chair and pulls out her Gameboy Advance with the Four Swords main screen displayed brightly on it:: MUM BOUGHT IT FOR ME!!! ^_^ How I love my Mum, she's just sooo kewl. *Sigh* Now I have to torture Storm to get the game so me and him can play Four Swords. I'm currently doing Dungeon 3 (skipped it to do Dungeon 4 first so I could have the powered up sword). Eeeks!! ::Blinks:: They up-ed the ante on the difficulty. The monsters move faster, some are more on the screen (though I noticed the Walmaster doesn't fall down that frequently at all). Also a LOT of the text has been edited. Geesh, I know most things by heart (I've played the SNES version 1209872340723 times (give or take a few 10000000000) and I catch every bit of it. Ick!! And I've died quite a few more times than I normally would. I expect the monsters to do one thing or be at a slower speed and... I find myself completely wrong. However... still there's something about the game that doesn't make it feel quite as exciting as LttP. ::Shrugs:: But I'm enjoying every second of it. ^_^ I love the new sound effects they put into the game.. however, some of the music just does NOT sound right. ::Shrugs:: I suppose I should go easy on this fact with such a simple system but.. the music from the game is like one of the best features on the SNES so I am majorly disappointed about that.

CURRENT NEWS - Ok, I have four wonderful pictures that everyone should take a look at. ^_^ I'm glad that the Zelda Cosplay is growing, that I wish I would grow a bit faster. I do enjoy seeing these wonderful costumes. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME coming up with this kind of stuff. Anyone that has any pictures laying around at home (or as in the case with Lynzie already up on another site) SEND THEM IN!! ::Laughs:: Oh! Lynzie asked a very good question. Job Positions for the Staff of MCLoZ are now open again for anyone who wants to try their luck. I also revamped the page a little with job descriptions at the bottom of the page. I also had to edit the form since ::shrugs:: this just solves the whole problem with the bio page. *Sigh* Back to having my e-mail box full of people who have filled out this form. >:] Just remember, you are not accept just because you filled out the form. COMMENTARY - ::Drools:: Indeed, Lain is definitely one of the better series, and I love it because it is so mind-boggling. Half of your questions don't even get answered until the final episode. I've watched the whole thing through three times now and each watching I continue to pick up ideas of what might be going on. ^_^ Far more thrilling than even Evangelion. ...But at least Lain has a somewhat happy ending though sorta regretful, but very very good. ::Looks over at Pluto:: Sorry, no dibs on anything on MCLoZ. CURRENT NEWS - Yeah, Pluto just got a comic strip made...Boss should be putting it up soon. Pluto decided to go another direction with his comix...it will now have the rest of the SSB characters in it. Now, now, it will still be set in Hyrule and star Link, just the others will be there. CURRENT NEWS - ::Grins widely:: Ok, not exactly an excuse for my prolonged absense. Actually, I would have had it done if it had not been for my sister taking the computer (see commentary). Anyways, the Image Contributer part will help when I enlist the help of my fans. ::Grins even wider:: Yep, later on I'm going to ask you guys to send in any images you would like to have placed up on the site and I will thank you by placing up your names and/or e-mail addresses. ;) If you take it from sites that's ok, but if you can tell me, give me the website address so I can also stick it up on the page. But anyways, THAT'S LATER. This is now. And this didn't turn out looking that bad at all. Phew, however, I think from now on I'll stick to doing my 'testing' work on Majora's Mask which has less files than OoT. Editing 33 Files just see if something will look quite right is not fun at all. ((I have to do all the pages and place them up on the site because I can't see 3/4 of the document on my computer because of SSI.)) COMMENTARY - Alright, I'm sure a few of you have noticed that in the evenings my time on the computer becomes less and less and the last two days it has become nill. *Sigh* It's my sister's fault. She is reading The Scarlet Letter in school at the moment and, well, she's not a very gifted reader... actually probably about average but since I'm gifted it doesn't seem average to me (I've never once looked up anything in Cliff Notes and, in fact, I hate them as a cheat source, though strangely just about everyone uses them. I remember everything I read but give me a break! I'm not THAT gifted). Anyways, she's getting Cliff Notes or something related to that on the computer to help her along as she reads (and in my opinion she is doing it correct and that's how I feel the stuff should be used, most just read that stuff and not the book). So... anyways, she's got the computer in the evenings for a commendable cause that I'm not going to interfere with, so you guys are going to have to put up with less and less of me in the evenings. Alright, that's all on that. I'm going now. Tata!!

CURRENT NEWS - Nintendo has annouced that the next Gameboy will come out in March! No, this is not a completly new system. It's more like a Gameboy Advance 1 1/2. It has.. backlighting! Yea! I can play LttP or Advance Wars in the dark! It's also half the size and somewhat better. It's estimated at $99.95.
The batteries last for 10 hours with backlighting, and 18 hours without it. I bit expensive for just backlighting if you ask me. I'll wait until the next GBA has N64 graphics.
Ocarina of Time on GB? Sweeeet.

COMMENTARY - ^_^ Yeah!! It's MCLoZ v.7's Birthday!! Also, it has been a year since I started being officially hosted (before I always ... and still do ... prefer Geocities, however, I like the idea of "unlimited space"). Furthermore, Version 7.0 is the only one to actually receive a Birthday! None of the other designs were ever up long enough, I think Version 3.0 (MCAWS) came close as well did Version 6.0, but this design has officially reached it!! ::Shrugs:: Still, you're right, it isn't Midnight Castle's official birthday, but still something to be noted ^_^. Out of all my designs, though, I love this one best and I really can't see anyway to improve upon it lest I wanted to get fancy and do Flash, which I don't have nor plan to get. That's just too fancy. ;) I prefer simple yet stylish.

CURRENT NEWS - Yes I just deleted Sangokyu's last two posts, because first he and Angel have both already made nonscence posts. Now, correct me if I am wrong, have I or have I not said that unless you have something to say in the Updates or News section DO NOT UPDATE!!! And furthermore, the News section is only for ZELDA or SITE RELATED "NEWS". DO NOT UPDATE to say pointless things like "Hey! It's February". That is NOT zelda nor site related unless you had a project planned for February in which case you would talk about the project and therefore that would fall under SITE RELATED.

Sangokyu, you have already made an oddity for the Zelda inspiration thing. You don't need to repost it. Furthermore, my little "secret" thing has been showing up in "Commentary" which should tell everyone something... it's NOT news, it's COMMENTARY.

I hate to do this, but from now on, any post that gets made that does not contain Updates or News will be deleted as Sangokyu's two posts have been. I have already stated in my first update today the log page is a LOT bigger than it normally should be. In other words, there looks to be a problem with the size of the files - and as I have figured out on countless occassions, when the site page gets too long in length, my design breaks. The side ruler stops following the document down and the page takes way too log to upload. We do NOT need to help it along.

COMMENTARY - ::Walks off grumbling:: I was going going to be nice and say nothing to those first two posts, but this is just too much. Oi... CURRENT NEWS - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every month it's the same old thing. I have moved last month's log into the Past Updates archive. ::Blinks and laughs:: And you will find it is the biggest log in the archive. Uhh... ^_^ With so many people updating now, those pages are going to start becoming really huge. I just hope not too huge. ~ I found a picture that's of the title screen for Four Swords!! Yeah!! I also was not aware it is not called "The Four Swords" just "Four Swords" oh well, I renamed the whole section something else anyway. I decided to put (LttP) in front of it. It's not a full game just a multiplayer game on LttP, so that only seems right.
