February 28, 2004 | MCLoZ - Always Eager To Help People Out - BS Zelda Site
UPDATES MADE - Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoS: (#4) "King Moblin's Revenge" by The Eight Sage |TWW: (#21) "Seagull Trick" and (#22) "Goron Evolution" by Darkblade Shiekah
CURRENT NEWS - Ok, yeah, Max is still sick. Give her a break, anyways, ^_^ more Oddities are always nice. ~ Anyways, more specific today, this had meant to go up with an update for yesterday but obviously there was no update. Please be sure to read today's commentary as I got an e-mail in my mailbox from someone asking for a little help and for me to post this up. I'll be more than happy to do so and wish them the best of luck in the future. (Yeah, it's going to be long.)
COMMENTARY - I'm a staff member for the BS Zelda Homepage that deals with Zelda games that were released for the Bandai Satellaview add-on for the Super Famicom. No one outside of Japan has ever had a chance to play these games as they were never made on cartridges.
We are presently looking for a rom hacker who may help us make patches for BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets (aka BS Zelda 3, or Kodai no Sekiban). We have lost contact with the rom hacker who made the patch that fixed the original BS The Legend of Zelda (aka BS Zelda 1) for over 4 years now and this other game is still in an extremely poor playing condition. There is no sound or music, all indoors (dungeons, caves, houses etc.) will appear as black, empty screens, except for the doors; making it nearly impossible to navigate and as you may walk through where a wall is supposed to be and lose your way or crash the game. Kodai no Sekiban is also still completely in Japanese and needs a translation. The last significant patch for this game was made in September 1999, without any real progress since then. The original BS The Legend of Zelda had some similar problems that were corrected by patches that our presently missing hacker made.
A Link to the Past was arguably the best 2D Zelda game ever made and Ancient Stone Tablets is a follow-up with rearranged dungeons, evolving outdoors and new puzzles, so it is sure to be classic. Unfortunately we will never know how good this game is if we do not find a skilled rom hacker. Could you please help us find one by announcing on your website that we are looking for someone skilled enough to make patches that would fix these problems.
If you would like to see pictures of how poor the indoors of the game are please go to our website at http://www.tgl.bz/bszelda/bszelda.shtml use the left scroll bar and click on Pix under Ancient Stone Tablets. I am than willing to answer any questions you might have. Please help us revive a classic.
Your fellow Zelda fan, Cent208

February 26, 2004 | A News Flash About The Future Of MCLoZ - And An Excuse...
UPDATES MADE - *None
CURRENT NEWS - Warning: The before mentioned "surprise" is coming up. I'm not sure when. It could be from tomorrow on. Downtime? I dunno, it's a possible, but maybe not. However ^_^ don't be too shocked if you get... uh... transfered to a new URL. *Giggle*
COMMENTARY - Sorry, I am a little sick. I had to go to emergency yesterday because my Albuteral for my Nebulizer was outdated and I was having a SERIOUS asthma attack. My little sister has stayed home all week because of a vicious cough and I seem to have gotten it T-T and it's very bad for me. I didn't update today because I'm feeling very crappy and utterly exhausted but I will try to tomorrow.

February 25, 2004 | Max Has Been At This For A While Now. Can I Stop, Yet?
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening *Packaging Artwork Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time *Packaging Artwork
CURRENT NEWS - And as promised - Ta da! More Box Art added to the sections. Whee. I might do more later, but I doubt it. But you can definitely expect more tomorrow. Until then, Tata!!
COMMENTARY - Max knows how you feel, Link. I could use a break. Hrrrm, well, I know I should work on MCLoZ, so how 'bout I do this. Go off and play Oracle of Ages so I can get the game up to the part I need for information ^_^ and then I'll be having a little leisure and be working on MCLoZ at the same time. XD I'm so brilliant! Tata, everyone!!

February 25, 2004 | For Breakfast Today We Have The Sunrise Sampler - Box Art!
UPDATES MADE - Zelda II: The Adventure of Link *Packaging Artwork Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past *Packaging Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - More box art added. See, I told you I would go a lot faster once I knew how I wanted things done. The next update will more than likely be around this afternoon. No, don't fret. I say that a lot lately but this time I mean it.
COMMENTARY - ^_^ Actually, it's such an early update since I worked on it a little last night. ;) Now tell me I don't love my site. I'll kick your butt. ~ Oh, on another note. In the next few days, or weeks depending on my luck, don't be surprised if something... strange happens to MCLoZ. XD I've got a little surprise in the works. Just giving you guys a heads up.

February 24, 2004 | Bleh, Stupid Server Deciding To Act Up Today Of All Days!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda *Packaging Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Whee, ok, since Max seems to be very slow with playing her games - her little sister has been staying home sick and playing Pokemon and I don't have extra batteries for my GBC - I decided to start working on another portion of the site that's really lacking. Media and the like. I now start with "Packaging Artwork"! XD In other words, box arts, catridges, and hopefully manuals if I can find them. I only have one page today because I was messing with the design of the page and I'm always slow with that, but things will go much smoother once I know how I want it all done.
COMMENTARY - >_< And I was excited about announcing today's update since media is so lacking on my site. Max is finally getting around to working on it. Yeah ^_^ obviously, the media portion doesn't interest me that much. I'm into the strategy, but obviously, not everyone agrees with me. Oh well. More tomorrow!!

February 23, 2004 | New Investigation
UPDATES MADE - Doh's Investigations *February 2004 Edition Added
CURRENT NEWS - Yes, the investigation for this month is now up for all of you to read. This month I've looked into the latest product announced by Nintendo, the Nintendo DS. The investigation looks into what little has been announced and gives my verdict on what seems to be a possible awful idea.
COMMENTARY - Yes another month and another investigation comes by. Again Nintendo provide me with ammo to shoot them with, come on! The Nintendo DS at present (and from what's been announced) seems like the most ridiculous idea to come out of Nintendo HQ since they decided to change the Mario Kart system around. When will Nintendo learn? As much as I enjoy playing their games, they just haven't recently produced the goods that Nintendo gamers are after. Maybe, just maybe, Nintendo will start to repair their newly found lazy ways.

February 21, 2004 | Max Has An Idea For A New Project And A Headache
UPDATES MADE - Zelda Secrets and Oddities *MM: (#39) "Generous Guay" by A Devoted Zelda Fan
CURRENT NEWS - <_< No, there's no strategy page update. That's what caused my headache. *Sniffles* You see... while going around through the world collecting pictures I began to realize a LOT of my mistakes. And unfortunately, some of my mistakes I can't even remember what were in the chests! *Sigh* Ok, not to worry, I have a game on my gameboy going that's almost up to the part where I can check all of these mysterious chests. Thank God, but it's going to take me today to get to them. So, expect an update tomorrow full of lots of corrections and new pages. >_< I'm mad at myself!! I've really massacred those pages. And what's worse, LOL, my Prima Strategy Guide book is full of so many fricken mistakes it's as messed up as I am.
COMMENTARY - Hrrrrm, when someone asked if I had something on my site and much to my embarrasment I had to say no, it's given me an idea for a new "project". ^_^ Yeah, projects like what's inspired everything under the Article section. Only this one is on the same level as The Monster Strategy Guide. Hrrrm... I dunno if I can even do it. I'm going to fiddle around with the idea today and see what I can do and make a preview of it tomorrow and see if it's even worth continuing with the idea. ^_^ Actually, I think it sounds fun for me and shouldn't really be all "that" challenging.
Edit: Meh, and already I realize after messing around a little bit, it's not worth it. So, nevermind on this issue *sigh*.

February 20, 2004 | Maxine Is Human... She Can Make Mistakes... Right? Yeah!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages *Gasha See Locations Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Fairy Fountain Locations *Updated ~ The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Soft Soil Locations *Updated ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoT: (#63) "Bomb-Throwing Soldier" by Orion | TWW: (#20) "Good Pictures" by matt ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *Item 77 by freaky oni link
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Ok, I added in the Gasha Seed Locations. As for the other two pages *cough* as I was collecting the Gasha Seed screenshots I came across one spot I had forgotten for each page. >_< No one's perfect. :P And there's prolly one or two more I've forgotten. If you notice errors, or something I've forgotten, please, ^_^ I invite you to show me up. Inform me of my screw ups.
COMMENTARY - -_-; Great, perfect commentary. In the middle of typing out the News I just realized a place that I totally forgot about and believe there was a Gasha Seed located there. Or was it a Ring. >_< I forgot to look down at the maze below Crescent Island. As soon as I remember what was really there (time to dig out the Prima Strategy book for help) I might end up updating on this page again. -_- *Sigh* OoA is much more complicated than OoS.

February 18, 2004 | My Story Character Talked To Me - And He Told Me Update
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages *Fairy Fountain Locations Added
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Yeah, I put up the fairy fountain locations, with all of the pictures. Yeah! Go me!! ~ Actually, I didn't go on hiatus. There was an update yesterday, though all I did was encode and upload it. It's up to the create to update about it. Let's see if you can find it while he tries to steal a computer in order to update for us.
COMMENTARY - ^_^ Aww, my story character is so cute. His name is Amar Shadow and he's twelve years old and he's a Warlock. Yeah, Amar!! Now, what to make you do today.
Amar: ::Glares at Max:: I don't know what you intend to put me through today, but don't you have something else you need to be doing.
Max: Huh? What do you mean?
Amar: Don't you have a website to be taking care of.
Max: I don't want to work on it. I can do it tomorrow.
Amar: And you like to try to think you're superiour. Tch, at least I'm not afraid of my responsibilities.
Max: T-T Amar is being mean to me. Fine! I'll go work! And when I get back I'm going to put you through something so horrible you'll barely escape with your life!! Mean and evil story character. Why did I ever create you. ::Runs off crying:: ---------------- Max: There! Finished!! You happy!! I did the OoA Fairy Fountains!! Whee!!
Amar: ::Studies the page and turns back around and glares at her:: What? All five of them? You really are pathetic.
<_< ... ::Gets out her pencil and writes down Amar's death sequence:: Stupid character. MEET YOUR DOOM!!

February 16, 2004 | Specials Are Always Nice - And That's What I Have For You
UPDATES MADE - Special Article: Community Magic - A Tale of Pure Love For the Game *Thanks To Engima of Zelda Vortex ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoT: (#60) "Gerudo's Face" and (#61) "Zora's Cave" by Orion, (#62) "Zelda, Malon, and Talon Like Mario" by Connor McGinnis ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 74-76 by DarkLink, Celba, and Connor McGinnis
CURRENT NEWS - Having read the article on Zelda Vortex and finding it a very sweet and encouraging story, I was rather shocked when I found a letter in my mailbox by Enigma offering me his article to place up on the site. ^_^ Gladly, says I!! And so, a Special Article added today by Zelda Vortex's co-webmaster Enigma. ~ And of course, the usual interesting things you can find added in Zelda Secrets and Oddities and Link's Infinite List of Torture. ^_^ I'm beginning to think very soon I'm going to have to find some way to divide the Oddity page in half.
COMMENTARY - Tch, I still haven't answered those affiliation letters (for not particular reason other than I'm lazy) and I need to get to it. Yes, you guys have every right to be angry with me. I will answer them tomorrow, I promise. -_- Because of my extended absense, my mailbox is quite full. Oh! BTW, a viewer recently submitted a Staff Application. He left me an IM address Wannabuysom and name Fierce Deity Link (I believe... this is just off the top of my head and I've got a bad memory) but no e-mail address and no idea what IM service you're using. If this is you, would you please be so kind as to tell me what your e-mail address is and what IM service you are using? ^_^ I can't contact you, friend, and your application looks most enticing T-T.

February 13, 2004 | It's Friday 13th! I Hope You Aren't Superstitious! I'm Not!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages *Soft Soil Locations Added
CURRENT NEWS - Whee! Finally!! New content. Please enjoy it! More coming soon. But please forgive me, because of having to find the pictures, one page a day is quite enough work to do. ~ Probably be back later, I haven't checked my mailbox today and I know I already have a few Oddities and Link Torture List Items.
COMMENTARY - ::Looks out the window:: And here in GA it's pretty gloomy. Matches the rumor of what Friday 13th's are suppose to be. XD I love listening to all those folklores. And I'm not be superstitious but I enjoy playing them out. Whee!!

February 11, 2004 | And If I Press This Button, It Creates A Capital Letter - Wow!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Secret Ring Locations *Revamped with Pictures ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *List Item #73 by Kathryne Vance ~ The Beta Zelda Files - Comments by Fans *Comments on OoT "File Numbers: 26,34,45, and 50" by ZeldaFan
CURRENT NEWS - Sorry I didn't get this up last night. I decided to have fun at some forums. But anyways, the last thing to be revamped (at least in the OoA section) is complete and I will start adding new pages tomorrow - hopefully. ~ Also an interesting paragraph by ZeldaFan. Umm, now, I don't mind two files being talked about in one go as long as they are connected but I just felt that this one... I think he could have cut it into individuals and I'm half tempted to do that, but his english was so bad anyway, I can't figure out how to do it without totally rewritting it anyway, and he obviously didn't give me an e-mail address. So, fair warning. If you are going to have 3+ files in one go, make sure they are connected/same topic/same bug (whatever), otherwise, it's not going up. If you give me your e-mail address, I tell you when it doesn't go up and explain why and how you can correct it, if you can.
COMMENTARY - ::Experiments with the keyboard:: Ok... press Shift+L... !Wow! It created "L". Now without the Shift... "l". People, is it REALLY that hard to press Shift before the first letters in names? Furthermore, is it really strenuous to type out y-o-u instead of just "u". ::Rolls eyes:: I KNOW you've had to have went through an english class. I also get a lot of this (not in ZeldaFan's but just stating) "hi i like zelda my name is bob and i dont know how to use grammer". Well, this isn't a flame-fest. My point is, I don't want to make you guys sound like retards so I minimally edit your stuff. However, when I get a paragraph in my e-mail box like ZeldaFan's it makes me hang my head in shame and dread having to put it up. When you guys submit things, can you PLEASE help me out a little and at least sound like you graduated third grade?

February 10, 2004 | Are You Ready For Another MagicFox Mini-Rant? I Am!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - The Trading System *Revamped with Pictures
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Ok, one more section needs revamping and then I will start adding new pages again. It's a small one, too, so I might have it done sometime today. So check for later updates.
COMMENTARY - Don't worry, this one isn't about community... well... not too much. The topic: Zelda Timeline.
Ok, I have not been with the games as long as others. However, I do remember the first time my parents bought Z1 and 2 (both of which I disliked as a kid), and then I remember when my parents first borrowed Z3 from my uncle. I was not into RPGs and I watched very little, but even as a seven/eight year old I understood that only Z1 and 2 were connected but Z3 was a "remake". A new story similar to Z1 but starting things over. I distinctinly remember Z4's release because I rolled my eyes up at it as I bought one of my Mario games. I understood that one to be a sequal to Z3. Even when I bought it, it says right there in the instruction booklet it's a sequal.
Now... Z5's release. As similar to Z3 as Z3 was to Z1. REMAKE!! In fact, incorporating Z1, 2, 3, and 4 ideas. There's owls, there's the sages names (the Z2 towns), the monsters, etc. It's even seen in The Beta Zelda Files. Originally it was just meant to be a 3D version of Zelda 1. Connected? Nobody even thought about that. But somehow with the release of Z6 (yes a sequal to Z5) and then Z7-9 people are trying to make things connected. Z9 can definitely be another sequal to Z5 but how are you going to stand there and tell me that Z7 and 8 are in any way connected to the others? They are just other "remakes", even done by another company.
^_^ You people and your timeline theories are so HILLARIOUS. You are forcing connections where there shouldn't be. Z3 says "Master Sword sleeps forever" and Z4 kept that image up, not having a Master Sword and only have Nightmares of Ganon. Z1 Ganon is defeated and in Z2 the monsters are after you because they need Link's blood to resurrect Ganon (which explains the Game Over screen). *Sigh* You people and your crazy ideas. All the timelines that keep popping up everwhere reminds me of the time when we had Triforce Theories everwhere we looked - I laughed then, too (no, I did, ask MCLoZ veterans. I once had a section where I dissed them heavily and got a lot of comedic attention. That's when my rants became famous).
Whee, that was fun. ^_^ Please join me next time for another episode of MagicFox's rants! >_> Umm... I dunno. Oh, my MCLoZ rants will be placed in the rants section of the Forums, so if anyone cares to respond (no flames) then by all means do so! XD I enjoy having nice little arguments. Like I said, the last one would have been more enjoyable if ZE had only gotten the points right ^_^.

UPDATES MADE - MCLoZ's Midi Player *11 New Link's Awakening Tracks Added ~ The Zelda News Menu *Updated
CURRENT NEWS - Which brings the total to 225 midis in the player. ^_^ Just a little present to those people who voted The Midi Player as their #1 favorite thing on MCLoZ. XD Lots of hard work and love goes into it, as well as everything else on the site. Keep voting people!! And don't forget to visit the forums. ~ Also a tid bit of Zelda news that the window above covers fairly well.
COMMENTARY - First look? <_< >_> I've been around for four years T-T. Oh well, obviously I couldn't decide on a subject line for this update. ^_^ I think those lines sum me up farily well. UPDATES MADE - Join the Staff *Page Revamped ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *ZCE: (#3) "Japas and His Music" by Chameleonlizard ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 69-72 by Link, Dee, Lars, and The Terminator
CURRENT NEWS - Ok, the Join the Staff page has been revamped, as promised. Please note the severe changes. My staff should too. I'm sending them an e-mail tomorrow, too. ~ Oh! To all of the WebMasters who have send me an affiliation request a while ago, yes, I'm sorry, I haven't gotten back to some of you. They are in there. I will work on those this week. I'm sorry. >_< Please don't hate me!!
COMMENTARY - I hate Sundays... it's chore day. I got stuck with laundry. Yeah, if you go back, I frequently whine about this some Sundays for the past few years. (Yeah, my logs go back "years".) Ok... I think the dryer stopped... I'm going... more updates tomorrow. I think I can drag myself away from Harvest Moon long enough to. Oh ^_^ And don't forget to vote on the Poll or visit the forums! XD The MCLoZ Player is ahead! I think I might treat you people to some more midis tomorrow. Whee!!

February 6, 2004 | I Think Somehow I Went Crazy While Waiting For My Anime...
UPDATES MADE - MCLoZ's Midi Player *6 New Wind Waker Tracks and 5 Remix Tracks Added
CURRENT NEWS - I got bored updating the pictures so I decided to update my Midi Player song list. Beneficial to the both of us ^_^. Oh! I have not played Wind Waker, yet, so if any of the tracks are misnamed/same type, please please e-mail me with the corrected forms so I can change it. *sigh* One of these days I'll get me a Gamecube.
COMMENTARY - *Cough* ... So much for passing interest sparked by impatience and boredom. I have somehow become addicted to Harvest Moon and... that's where I was yesterday. Don't hurt me!! I still love you guys and I'm here. I will do better, I promise. ~ Hee, new midi tracks added to the list. That makes... 214 midis in that list. w00t!! It just keeps growing ^_^. ~ Yes, I know I still have to update the new staffing policy. Duh! ...It's in half completed form. ^_^ Be patient. It is changing, though.

February 4, 2004 | MagicFox Gets A Startling Surprise After A Brief Hour Nap
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Heart Piece Locations *Revamped with pictures
CURRENT NEWS - Whee! Starting on Oracle of Ages. Let me take care of the current pages and I will start adding new ones. Yep, that I will. Also more news but I have placed it in the commentary since it's more that than anything.
COMMENTARY - ::Wakes up from an hour long nap in which her Dad got home from work:: Hey!! ::Sees Blou on his lap and pets him:: Hey Blue-Bagel! ::Plays with the dog and has a fairly extensive conversation with dad. Looks up at computer:: o_o ... WOAH!! WE GOT A NEW MONITOR!! ... AND... IT'S HUGE!!! XD 17in. to be exact! And nice color, EXCELLENT condition. Sold to my dad for only $20 since the guy just wanted to get rid of it since he got a new computer. So, not only am I looking at everything in the proper and original colors without a green, red, orange, or darker shade, but everything is in extreme view. XD I can actually have the comp screen on 1024x768 without my eyes suffering. (But I'll keep it at 800x600 so I don't get yelled at by the other computer users of my household *sigh*.) Max is in heaven! ::Rushes off to watch anime and play Diablo 2:: This is sweeeeeeeet... (oh and once again Max is not afraid to do things to MCLoZ color-wise.)

February 3, 2004 | Activities: Anime, Oracle Of Ages, More Anime... Harvest Moon
UPDATES MADE - Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoT MQ: (#5) "The Water That Fell Up", (#6) "Chest Mess", and (#7) "Screwy Camera" by HyperLink
CURRENT NEWS - Whee, more oddities!! That's always a good thing! That's all for today, more tomorrow, I promise. Don't forget to vote at the polls or visit the forums!
COMMENTARY - Actually, I'm working on getting past Veran right now :P be patient. However, once again, I've already gotten everything. I just did not plan to get screenshots when I firsted started these games. Ok... uh.. truth... yeah, I've also been taking quite a lot of breaks in which I've finished two animes, one the movie Ghost in the Shell - it's ok but I don't think it was worth the download effort; major let down - and Last Exile series - ::drools::. And also while I waited for stuff to finish downloading I got bored and <_< >_> saw that I had Harvest Moon still on my PC from when I loaded it up to boost my share for DC during the summer... decided to play it. No, I haven't gotten very far... it's... interesting anyway. ::Shrugs:: I doubt it will keep my interest for much longer, though. Ok, Lazy WebMistress Maxine MagicFox signing out. Tata!!

February 1, 2004 | It's February Already? What Happened To Jan.? Here We Go...
UPDATES MADE - Past Update Archives *January 2004 Added ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoT (#59) "Solid Sky?" by Someone | OoS (#3) "Torture King Moblin" by MagicFox ~ Link's Infinite List of Torutre *Item #68 by Links Wife
CURRENT NEWS - First thing first. Special thanks goes out to the following Guestbook Signers: MadMoblin, soul reaver, and D. Note to D: In the series FLCL "doesn't" mean anything but it's actually a Japanese slang term for something I'm not about to post up here on MCLoZ. And that wasn't the issue I was debating. soul reaver told me that it wasn't "FLCL" but "Fooly Cooly". A rabid Otaku was simply correcting a misguided American Censored TV watcher.
COMMENTARY - >_< Hrrrm, with the start of a new month, comes a start of a few new things. First, a few drastic changes are going to be made, namely to the Staff. The team thing isn't working. *Sigh* And Ganondoof and HyperLink are going to get a very strongly worded letter sent their way. I do need walkthrough writers and I need section/strategy/page writers for The Adventure of Link, The Wind Waker, and Four Swords Plus - no, I know it isn't out yet, but would anyone be interested in covering this section a little better than I am, and since I don't have a GameCube, there's no way I can do anything anyhow. I will be changing the Staffing applications, too, so wait around before you send anything in. T-T Max needs help *sigh*.
