Requests from the masses

I have a few requests for the fans of MCLoZ if anyone cares to contribute. While I am busy working on getting MCLoZ up in the new design, this provides me the perfect chance to also take in some extra contributions and to search for a few staff members. Mp3 Request First on the list, I am interested in putting up a page full of Zelda mp3 tracks. Anything, from soundtracks to just basic tunes. If anyone has any stowed away on their computer, please pack them in either a .zip file or a .rar is fine, too, and e-mail them to me at webmaster@mcloz.net. You will be given a lovely little mention on the page when you do, too. Staff Position: Image Gallery Moderator I am looking for anyone with coppermine experience who would be interested and willing to take on the Image Gallery. Duties expected will not only be to moderate them for inappropriate comments or images, but to also update our gallery with the newest screenshots and official art released. Staff Position: Strategy Writer Have a fair knowledge of most or all of the games? Interested in aiding MCLoZ in its quest for the most strategies? Now's your chance. No HTML knowledge required. All you need to be is a good writer who will give plenty of information on things like where to find all the grottos in a particular game, where to find fairy fountains, or where to find that elusive treasure everyone's been looking for. I would like to have three people at least to fill in this position. Staff Position: Image Collector Not afraid to use ROMs and Emulators (which I will supply)? How would you like to be an image gatherer for MCLoZ? I give you a list of the things for which you must collect images, and you hack into the game, using even cheats or whatever means necessary, to get the image of what I desire in any particular Zelda game. ****I would like to have someone who can get me images for the N64 games, the Gamecube, and the Wii, and even the Zelda DS!**** If you are interested in any of these staffing positions, please feel free to e-mail me for more details or to apply. 	My... MY LAPTOP HAS RETURNED!!

Today's Updates: Soon and Upcoming!! First thing to occur: Fan submittions will temporarily be turned off for Link's Torture List and Zelda Oddities. They will also be the first thing that I start adding up to my site in various intervals throughout the week and this weekend. *The Fan submittions will remain off until the site is 100% up in the new design. *Squeeeee* My laptop came back yesterday. Ok, I have a LONG and VERY INVOLVED rant pending about it, but let's just suffice it to say for right now that, I was rather pissed about how it was returned back to me. Remember how I mentioned the people told me the part they were waiting for was the motherboard. Dad and me cracked the thing open (my baby is lieing all out in parts) and the headphone jack is not attached to the motherboard AT ALL and there's nothing wrong with that part. Actually, the problem ironically turned out to be that, yes a little piece of the headphone jack had broken off (the corner of a piece, actually) and had wedged up in an inconvenient spot. We turned the computer on to test it - and there's sound now! *Rolls eyes* >_< A CLEAR INDICATION THE BASTARDS PROBABLY NEVER EVEN OPENED THE DAMN THING! There's a lot more to it than that, though. Hopefully when I come home, dad will have figured out the CD drive problem (I think he was halfway done when I left for school) my computer will be fully functional once again. Which means - UPDATES!! Keep in mind, I still have school this week. I actually have an algebra test Thursday and well, the whole week is just going to be VERY busy considering that next week we get off for a "winter break" XD. So, if I don't get much done this week, expect LOADS this weekend and next week. Now, you will notice my post in the updates in the top paragraph about the fan submittions. I know this is going to ANNOY a LOT of people. However, my site NEEDS to get up, and I can't focus on it when my mailbox is being overflooded by countless fan submittions. So, I'm taking them down temporarily while I focus on getting that up. Throughout that process, however, I will more importantly be working on getting Twilight Princess material up! T-T My site is seriously lacking in that department! IT WILL NOT DO!! >_< So, fan submittions first, then next I will work on getting my site up, and when I get tired of that I will work on Twilight Princess material!

	Laptop Status - Not Yet

>_< So, as I mentioned in my previous post, I called the support center. WHY does it seem that ALL fricken' support centers are filled with non-english speaking idiots?! Me and my dad spent several hours trying to get through to someone with information. Then, dad got a clever idea to look on a box we had gotten before (with our name incorrectly spelled) and there was a number on there. THANK GOD we got someone that could speak english and even better was polite and very informative. So, here's the status of my computer. When I first got my laptop, about the third week in, I tripped over the cable and the laptop took a MINOR MINOR soft fall. However, it fell on my earphones, bent the heck out of them. Now, several months later, my sound system itself went out. We guessed what was wrong, the headphone jack had busted, allowing only sound to the headphones but not to the main stereo system. From what the lady on the phone told us, it seems that the headphone jack itself is soddered onto the motherboard. >_< I CRACKED the motherboard! So, the long wait has actually been due to them waiting for a new motherboard. She did not have a precise date for the return of my laptop - not until tomorrow. So... I guess I will make ANOTHER update tomorrow about my laptop. That means, AGAIN, this weekend will no doubt once again be without fan submittions!! Oh, and to the people that are filling out the forms sending nasty comments - IF YOU WANT ANSWERS to your questions, GIVE ME YOUR E-MAIL! I will be MORE than happy to e-mail you in return with the answer to your question and far more details than I'm bound to post up on here since I do not like to post unless I have an update. OR other ways you can contact me, go to the Forums and enter on the guest board where you do not have to be registered and can post as freely as you like and I will be happy to respond. OR you can visit my Live Journal where I rant about these sorts of things and/or you can leave a comment and I will reply to it on there, too. Stop hiding behind those forms and filling them out with nonscene! Also stop DEMANDING and getting snappy with me. *Rolls eyes* I'm in college and while I love MCLoZ, my homework comes first. If there is no update on the weekend or whatever, then there's no update. If you are getting impatient at the rate in which I update those two pages, GET OVER IT. When my laptop comes back I'm going to turn those forms OFF so I can focus instead on trying to get the rest of MCLoZ up in the new design. I'm tired of having those pages hanging over my head.

*Sigh* I'm really sorry about this guys. I thought I had mentioned it clearly enough in my previous updates but I guess not, and I'm starting to get some rather nasty e-mails. My laptop was sent to the HP support center so that it could be worked upon. My sound system wasn't working. While I have MCLoZ on back up on a disc, I have no computer from which I can work on it. MCLoZ cannot be updated until I get my laptop back. It's SUPPOSE to come today. If it doesn't, I'm getting on the phone with those b*st*rds and demanding my laptop sent back to me. This is REDICULOUS! >_< I, too, am getting fairly angry. MCLoZ aside, I have school work that I need my laptop for. So, right now, I'm as angry as you guys. And I promise that as soon as my laptop is back, you guys will be the first to know and I will reward you with lots of updates ^_^;; ... as soon as my homework is finished.

	A loooooong week

Today's Updates: None - my weekend was spent playing games and saying farewell to my laptop for a week! *Cries* I know, I didn't work on fan submittions as I promised I would last weekend. I have a very good excuse. I managed to get the gallery back in working condition and I was playing Touhou games in hopes of burning myself out on them so I would not go through serious withdrawals. My laptop has been sent in to shop. There's a minor problem with the speaker system that needs fixed. The retards on the other end (I HATE Tech Support of ALL kind) said that it would take about 3-5 business days for me to get it back. Which means an earliest of Thursday to latest Monday. I'm not expecting it until next Friday. Pessimism is nice in that there are no dissapointments - only surprises. And I WILL SUE IF MY BABY IS NOT RETURNED TO ME IN PRESTINE CONDITION! I know EVERY scratch on that baby! (Only one, actually.) And I know how my baby looks. >_< I WILL NOT HESITATE TO BREAK OUT THE DULL-AX-OF-PAIN-AND-TORTURE!! In other news: I fricken' hate Reisen Inaba! Divine retribution will be MINE when I get my laptop back! (Yes, I'm about to die... AGAIN! For those that don't know: the round object on my character is my hit box. Once it's hit, you're dead. Still, though, tell me that dieing this way is not an eye-fest! *Drools*)
