I wonder how others pronounce "mcloz"
June 24, 2004, 5:50 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, updates first! Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Peculiar Game Tricks: LA: "My Favorite Key - Twice" by theatrebrad, MM: "Pit in Sakon's Hideout" by Pipin. Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Unusual Tips and Tricks: LA: "Bow Wow Hound" by theatrebrad, FSA: "Force Gem City" by ChameleonLizard3. Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Strange Observations: LA: "Unhanded Sword" by theatrebrad, TWW "Fishing for Nothing" by Darkblade Sheikah

This isn't everything. My mailbox is still slightly filled with a few goodies, so be patient. Oh, and please excuse the slight absense. Actually, I was working on MCLoZ. The forums to be exact. ^_^ Be sure to head over there. Our new Co-Administrator JJK has set up a sweet little Forum RPG for us. You gotta check it out! And I need to make someone cry when I cream them - MWHAHAHAHA!!

Commentary: I wonder how other people say "MCLoZ". Me, I say it m-c-"loz" (as in lost but with a z sound at the end). I've heard one other person, though, say they pronounced it "micloz" or another "m-clOz". So weird how five simple letters can be pronounced many different ways. Oh well. However you pronounce it, you can now attach it to the end of my e-mail address. ^_^ That's right. Instead of typing in "magicfox64@hotmail.com" you can now type in "webmaster@mcloz.net". MWHAHAHAHA!! Well, you can still type in the first one, but the "webmaster" address just forwards it to that account. ^_^ I can't believe I finally got the bloody thing to work! My signature in the posts have been changed to reflect this as well! Wheee!

Four Swords Adventures section not forgotten
June 18, 2004, 4:58 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: I guess, though, I did lie a little about the Official Art Galleries being done. It wasn't "technically" correct. But ha! I've made ammends. You can now find Box Art and Official Art located in the Four Swords Adventures game section!

Commentary: Uhh... Join the forums! That's about the only thing I can think of to say at the moment. I'm pretty out of it with the chatter. I'll think of something else to rant on about later. Hrrm, who knows. Tata!

Almost Finsihed!
June 15, 2004, 4:36 PM EST by Dethl'sShadow
Updates: The Beta Zelda Files* TWW Files 17-21 Added.

Commentary: Right now, I'm working on the big treasure guide for the Wind Waker, which will complete my work on TWW. After that, I'm going to...uh...hmm, I don't know. (thinks hard) I guess I could go ahead and do some stuff for FSA, but there's only one actual sidequest that I could do a page on. So, I guess I'll do that and then do beta until TMC and the realistic one come out, unless Max comes up with something else for me to do.

My mail is officially all caught up!
June 14, 2004, 1:17 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, let's see if I can get through all of this. Firstly, we have a new affiliate: MPlayed. Next, we have a long list of new Oddities. Here I go. In Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Peculiar Game Glitches: FS: "Running Move" by Garret, ZCE: "Answer to 'No Fierce Deity's'" by ChameleonLizard3. In the Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Unusual Tips and Trickes: TWW: "Secret Weapons" by ChameleonLizard 3. And in Zelda Secrets and Oddites - Strange Observations: LttP: "Movie Music to Flute Music?" by R. J. Smith, TWW: "Rito Wall Wizrobes" by Darkblade Sheikah, "Not the Only One Who Knows" by ChameleonLizard 3. And last but not least in the Link's Infinite List of Torture page Item #103 by gary was added.

Commentary: Whew, that was alot. ::Mutters:: See what happens when I decide to get lazy with my mail. It all piles up on me like that. Gah >_<. Umm, now, what to put here... oh, the next update won't be by me, but will be from my staff. Anyways *sigh* I gotta go now. Tata!

And all official art galleries have been completed!
June 12, 2004, 2:32 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: And with the addition of the Link's Awakening official art gallery ^_^ all of the Zelda sections now have official art and I will only add in what's either sent in through mail by viewers or what is put up for the new upcoming Z games.

Commentary: ... No, my mail isn't answered yet. I'll have to do it later. Parents gave me some issues and I only did the art gallery to try and ignore them. Meh, I'll get to it sometime today. They WILL be answered today. YES THEY WILL. Though, I do want to announce something with affiliation. I am no longer willing to make those huge e-mails I use to make listing all the "whys" I won't affiliate. I'm sorry, really, but I don't have time for it anymore. So, I will now simply send a short paragraph e-mail. Also, ::mutters:: I'm going to redo the affiliation requirements page a little. I'm going to lower my requirements. I had a chat with a good friend and he made several good points on the issue. ::Shrugs:: Whatever. My new expectations will extend to whatever e-mails are in my box, too.

And then I realize... I still haven't answered my mail!
June 11, 2004, 1:49 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, the Legend of Zelda sprite gallery has now been added to the site. You can find it over to the left in the Fans section (above the LttP sprite gallery link) or just go into "The Legend of Zelda" game section. Meh, and I decided not to do what I was thinking so it got up a little quicker than I thought it was going to.

Commentary: Tcha, >_< I still haven't done the affiliation or staff requests yet. Forgive my laziness, people, I know you guys are waiting for them, and I dearly apologize. It's just one thing after another. If I don't get to them today they will get done first thing tomorrow. I PROMISE!! Or you have the right to send me some very strongly worded letters. (Well, you have already earned that right but...). And with Dethl's weekly project turn in, that game page has gotten pushed back farther on the list.

*Thump* But it's still not the planned update!
June 10, 2004, 9:03 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: When a friend on a forums I visit stumbles on my site, the first thing he notices is the sprite gallery. And then I mention that I will happily put some of his sprites on my site. I didn't realize it would lead to quite a few! Linkthewarrior has contributed some sprites he has found and they have been placed in the gallery.

Commentary: However, ironically, the story doesn't end there. ^_^ I get an e-mail in my box with even more sprites from him. All from the original Legend of Zelda game. And there's quite a few, too. These will take more time to put up since I want to place them on their own special page and I might just rework that sprite gallery a little. Yeah, ok... so, when am I going to update the Mainstream Games page like I said, what, four days ago? Your guess is as good as mine. ^_^; Why do I try to plan ahead. *Sigh* I give up. LOL. Whatever happens - happens. Oh, and Devilitchi will be missing out on a few updates to take care of life. Though he did contribue something nice I was planning to work on after the Official art, so that will be up... uhh - whenever. See, I was about to do it again, wasn't I?

Ok, not quite the update that I promised...
June 7, 2004, 6:07 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Oracle of Seasons' Official Art has been added! And now, for more important news, I updated the Zelda News Menu above this morning. I totally forgot that FSA was also scheduled to come out June 7th. ^_^ So, anyways, in case you were as dumb as me, both Four Swords Adventures and the GBA Classic Mini series have been released.

Commentary: Ok... ::Looks around:: Uhh... meh... well, I don't have much to say, and since it's starting to storm outside, I'm going to press the submit button in case the electric goes out and I end up losing all that I just typed up. Tata, everyone!

Uhh... It seems I did miss a few...
June 6, 2004, 8:54 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Well, actually, I have to thank a poster over at the Zelda Elements Forum for this one. A post he made yelling that his L3 Shield had gotten eaten lead me to this discovery. I added another GBA shop change to the LttP Shop List. And, HyperLink pointed out another error. Somehow o_O the link to Devilitchi's site was not a "link" but just text. Whoops.

Commentary: *Sigh* There's prolly more that I missed. ::Slumps:: Ugg ^_^ so much to look out for, especially when you feel a little pressure to get this stuff up for your viewers. I try to take my time and double check everything, but it's not always that easy nor effective. ::Shrugs:: Oh well. Continue sending in errors I might have missed.

Clean up day at the Castle! Hope I didn't miss anything.
June 6, 2004, 12:10 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, I went through and cleaned up a small list of errors and other things that had been reported. Join staff page has been corrected to reflect current staff and projects needed. Meet the staff had C_Man's info taken out and I always miss correcting that link under my info *sigh*. Video Game Central articles have been canceled. I cleaned out the affiliates of the sites that have went down or not updated recently. Topsites cleaned up. Also the "Mainstream Zelda Games" had an error in the Oracle series part. I put "Hyrule" down when I meant Labrynna. LOL. Dethl'sShadow caught that one. And HyperLink reported that the title under the splash image in The Minish Cap game section had said "Zelda 1 - The Legend of Zelda". A sign that I copied and pasted. LOL. I also caught an error that I fixed yesterday. o_O There was an image in the A Link to the Past Items List that had gone down. My fault, at some point I accidentally moved the image into the sprites folder.

I always forget to do this! This should have been done the first. I'm sorry. I need to do the special thanks for all the people that signed the guestbook last month. Special Thanks goes out to: Malon, Alex, Jessica, FIREEMBLEM87, and Frank. ^_^ Thank you all for your compliments and your continued support for the Castle.

Commentary: ::Dusts herself off:: Ok, I think that's everything. If you've spotted any errors that I should have cleaned up, please be sure to report them. ...Uhh.. and about my mail... I'm still ... working... on it... *cough* .... I have your affiliation requests and staff requests... it's just. ... *cough* ... I'll get to them, promise. But, my next update is going to be updating the Mainstream Zelda Game page with the info for the two upcoming Zelda games. Since there's not much, shouldn't take me too long, so either today or tomorrow expect that update.

An update and a quick reminder!
June 5, 2004, 2:58 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Ok, just a few piddly things for today. First, I finished up the Shops listing in the A Link to the Past game section. I accidentally forgot about one of the SNES shops, and I changed my mind about what I was going to do for the GBA shops (relist them all) and just listed the one change. And to the Zelda Secrets and Oddities - Peculiar Observations page, "Peculiar Decorations" by Franklin was added for the Majora's Mask section.

Commentary: Just a quick and friendly reminder for Zelda News. Monday, June 7, the Mini-NES Classic series will be released. ^_^ Pick up your copy of The Legend of Zelda! Which reminds me, I should get to work on that section. Hrrm... I'll think about it. You never know where my updates are going to lead me next, but you know, I think I'm pretty much done with the LttP section. I just have Rupee Men to add off the top of my head. Wow ^_^ *sigh* I love that game.

A sudden nightly post since I was bored.
June 4, 2004, 10:02 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: Added up official art work for the Oracle of Ages game section. Well, it's not completely done. I'm going to do each of these games seperately and then go through and add up the art that applies to both game sections. ~ Also, yes, I'm being slow about checking my mail. Please be patient. I'm trying. It's not easy when you have a family to share the computer with.

Commentary: ^_^ Well, it seems Dethl'sShadow enjoys the new updating system. I'm glad. Hrrrm... let's see... what to rant about now... uhh... huh ^_^ gee, I don't have anything to rant about. Ah well. Good night, folks. I'll try to have more up tomorrow. Tata!

What? Technology?
June 4, 2004, 4:24 PM EST by Dethl'sShadow
Updates: Absolutely nothing.

Commentary: O_O
Mastery of technology still evades me...
If it weren't for the big buttons, you might not ever see another update by me again.
PRAISE THE BIG BUTTONS!!!
(realizes own insanity)
I need medication.
This is purely me testing the new update system, so pay no heed.
(continues to rant about useless things)

There comes a time when change is nice!
June 4, 2004, 3:18 PM EST by Maxine MagicFox
Updates: ^_^ So, how do you like it? Yeah, ok, not much, but I think it's cuter and it's new anyway than the original updating format. As of late I've just begun to feel that the Update Bar was getting a little redundant. Updates and News will just be displayed here in normal fashion. Whee, Max wants to explain. See that little guy in the corner beside the header? ^_^ When us staff members update we get to choose a Zelda sprite that we want displayed there from a gallery I have loaded up. To my staff members, you will be receiving an e-mail soon explaining it a little bit. Not to worry. If it was anything too technical, I wouldn't bother. I think it looks cute, and it's something new for MagicFox to play with on her site.

Commentary: Ok, now I will use this section to rant about how much trouble that cute sprite system turned out to be. First was finding out "how" to do it. I had several ideas, but after reading a FAQ on the coranto site I noticed a little "Addons" tab. I clicked it and it had several things that would be useful. I went through about three different systems before I found the exact one that I wanted. What? What's the difference? Well, you only see the image but I was concerned about my staff members too. The difference are what "we" see when typing out an update. Then once I decided on this. T-T It didn't want to work. I spent until 4 last night and got up at 8 to figure it out. *sigh* There's still a little problem with it (once again only we staff see it) that while it's nothing that I can't live with, it would be nice if it worked. ::Shrugs:: But it won't. I did everything right. Hrrrm, who knows. I think it's a glitch. So, yeah. *sigh* Don't worry, next update I will include all of the update archive and the guestbook stuff. But I want to get started on a REAL update now. ^_^ This was just for fun.

CURRENT NEWS - Be sure to check it out, sorry for the delay!

COMMENTARY - Sorry it took so long to get that beast out. My dog ate my update and I...er...I mean...hmm. Ok ok, I was slaking a little bit, but I did have a new job start and end all in one week. That has to add up to some excuse! ^_^

June 1, 2004 | Ack! I'm sorry!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker *Tingle Tuner Events Added.

CURRENT NEWS - Hmm, my WW stuff is nearing completion. Magicfox has my special charts page and my island-by-island guide is in progress.

COMMENTARY - O_O Eeek! I'm sorry Magicfox! I thought I'd sent you that page! Apparently not...Wouldn't be the first time my email failed to send attachments...
But anyway. E3's over, and I'm quite excited about the coming year, what with the DS, MP2: Echoes, Zelda Reborn, (yes that's what they're calling it) and of course who can forget the Minish Cap.
-_-
But I have no money! -_- And I'm still out to get a Ps2. For Final Fantasy only, I assure you! -_- But those idiots at GameStop overprice them, and I'd never buy one from somewhere like Wal-Mart...
But I shut up now.
