March 31, 2004 | Grandparents.... Writing Assignment Due.... Harvest Moon....
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Faerie Fountains *Finished
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ I finally got around to finishing up the Faerie Fountain locations in my favorite game. Sorry it's taken a while everyone. ~ Now, in more important news, if you check out the Zelda News Menu, there is a new article. It seems that coming out this June 7 to Americans (dunno if this includes UK Residents or not) is the NES Classic Series. XD Pretty much the same deal the Japanese got with their Famicom series. A NES controller styled GameBoy SP and eight original NES titles remade for GBA/SP, one of which include our very own Legend of Zelda. And the games will be packaged in mini-styled versions of their original boxes. Check out the IGN link above for more details and screenshots.
COMMENTARY - June 7th? XD That's close enough to my birthday June 2nd. w00t!! THANK YOU, NINTENDO AND CO.!! Now... about my updates ... meh, I had Grandparents this weekend and about the only thing I got out of that was a new game (Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town - YAHOO!!) and then I've got my writing assignment due this week. I'm having trouble balancing time between my writing and my game, let alone my site. Meh >_> Ok, not quite the thing for a webmistress to say, I suppose but LIVE WITH IT. ::Skips off to go play some more Harvest Moon::

March 26, 2004 | Hee, Finally! I Have A Staff Member To Do The TWW Section!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask *Official Artwork Added ~ Meet the Staff of MCLoZ *Updated ~ Join the Castle Staff *Updated
CURRENT NEWS - Since the above is generic stuff, I will just skip it and go into the Zelda News, which as you can see has also been updated. Eiji Aonuma, Nintedo producer, gave a speech talking about the history of Zelda, it's development, and it's evolution. The speech was entitled "The Legend of Zelda: The Evolution of a Franchise". While very entertaining and informative, there were two important bits he mentioned. The Wind Waker 2 WILL be showcased at E3 this year! (1UP mentions in fact that there was a lot of mischevious smiling whenever E3 came up during his speech.) Next, and this doesn't really come as a surprise to me, but it might be possible that Zelda will head to the Nintendo DS portable system. Just a "hint" though. You can find the links to 1UP's summary and the link to Planet Gamecube's audio of Bill Trinen's translation of Aonuma's speech in the above Zelda News Menu.
COMMENTARY - Hee, new staff member!! Surprise!! ^_^ Hey, when he sends in a bunch of Oddities carefully detailing how to get legendary figurines I thought - "I gotta try to get this kid on the staff". *^_^* I hope he works out, he's shown LOTS of promise so far. And in response to the Zelda News... hrrrm... -_- That Zelda News Box is going to be rather busy this coming May. o_o I hope "I'm" up to the challenge. *Sniffles* I missed last May's E3 challenge when MCLoZ went down and in the past I've never been into understanding that stuff. *Sigh* This is going to be interesting. ;) And I already have a few ideas for a tune up for that Menu box for the E3 event. Whew, I'm getting excited!! Oh! Brief mention - MagicFox is slow in her e-mail reading again. Please be patient as I try to catch up on that. Until next time, Tata!!

March 25, 2004 | Procrastination Can Be Fun!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker*Figurines page added
CURRENT NEWS - A while ago, MagicFox emailed me with an offer to write an article for the Wind Waker section. Naturally, I agreed, and have since become the newest member of the MCLOZ staff. My page basically jus tells how to get all 134 of the figurines available in the game.
COMMENTARY - Wow. I actually got around to posting this update! I was supposed to yesterday, but I had to work on some schoolwork and was unable to do it. As I said before, procrastination can be fun! Also, I'm new on the staff, so have mercy on me if I do something wrong. Please, please, please! email me if you notice me doing something horrible, and correct me. >_< Anyway, just enjoy my page. ^_^

March 24, 2004 | What Better Way To Spend Your Day Working On Your WebSite
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker *Official Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ After getting a few thanks last night for adding up some official artwork, I thought I might just return their gratitude with another page full of artwork. XD Wind Waker artwork! ~ Now, this isn't "confirmed" enough to put it up in the Zelda News Menu, but I will post it here. There have been rumors going around that it might very well be possible Navi Trackers will not be making an appearance in the American copies of Four Swords Adventures. This rumor seems to be almost confirmed when Nintendo.com created this coverage of the game which seems to be quite void of any info regarding Navi's Trackers. Why would they take it out? In case none of you have watched the videos (slow computers or whatever), anything showing Navi's Trackers has Tetra talking. Perhaps it was deemed not worthy enough to receive a voice over. ^_^ Or maybe they fear the rabid masses that might attack them if they got the voice wrong.
COMMENTARY - ^_^ No, really, what's better than listening to your favorite music tracks, sipping pepsi and munching on whatever's handy in the fridge, and just typing away or messing with some image for your website. XD Well, maybe writing a good story instead of working on a website but right now, I'm having lots of fun just doing this. *Sigh* :( and the update's over. Oh well. I guess I'll see you tomorrow, guys. Tata!!

March 23, 2004 | This Update Is Big - I Hope I Don't Forget To Mention Something
UPDATES MADE - *Section Dividers Upgraded ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *FS: "Zoom After Descent" by Dark Grapefruits | TWW: "Hazardous Medli" by Dethl'sShadow | ZCE: "Two Master Swords?" by ChameleonLizard3 ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 83-86 by Kathryn, bongo bongo, and Logan / Also Updated to Expand ALL Games! ~ Z3 Monster Strategy Guide *Monster "Dragon" renamed to "Daria" - special thanks to Alex for sending in this monster's rightful name.
CURRENT NEWS - Ok... wish me luck in hoping to cover everything!! First, I upgraded the section dividers (those things to the left that say "mcloz website stuff" and so forth) so that they look a little more Zelda-ish. ~ Next: Link's Infinite LIst of Torture. Due to popular demand it has now been expanded to cover ALL of the Zelda games. ^_^; This is going to get interesting. But I can no longer ignore everyone's plea to "at least" expand it to The Wind Waker. *Sigh* So, enjoy. ~ The "Link to the Past" Monster Strategy Guide has received a correction to the monster previously named "Dragon" for a substitue. Alex sent me an e-mail explain that the creature's name is actually Daria and originally premiered in Adventure of Link. ^_^ A fact I totally missed!! Lots of thanks, Alex!! ~ Now, that's the updates, let's move into the REAL Zelda News! Four Swords Plus was released on the 18th in Japan. Whee. And now for the news that concerns us Americans, and maybe UK as well in the future, instead of Four Swords Plus we will now be calling it Four Swords Adventures *sigh* So when you see me post the acronym "FSA" you'll know it's for FS+. Also the release date has been moved from May 11th to June 6. ~ And last but not least, included in the same news topic in the News Menu above, a Four Swords Adventures manga has been released! The artist/mangaka is Himegawa Akira, the same mangaka who did the other Zelda mangas. ^_^ What's more is this manga can be read from right off of the Official Website. Only problem is... it's in Japanese (and for those that aren't familiar with their reading system, you read manga from the right to the left). Still... I might not be able to read it but the art... ::drools:: ^_^ It looks pretty kewl, honestly.
COMMENTARY - ::Sits down and takes a breather:: How's that for making up for yesterday's lack of update. Gimme a break! I had a bad week last week and I have a lot of stuff I'm behind on ... including stuff that is outside of MCLoZ. *Sniffle* MagicFox needs a hug... *sigh* ... Hrrrm, the FSA game is to be released June 6th... hey! My b-day is June 2nd... if I could somehow miraculously get a GameCube for my birthday, I will be able to enjoy FSA with everyone else!! T-T That would be so awesome... *sigh* hey! I can dream a little, can't I?

March 19, 2004 | And You Were Wondering What Other Surprises Were Upcoming?
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda Comic Books *Added ~ *New Section Added
CURRENT NEWS - I exchanged two crossed out links for four more so there's now five crossed out links. Well, anyways, those are the pages I'm hoping to get up very soon. I wasn't sure if I should add them up or not but I thought the area would look very lonely with only one link in there. Please be patient, those articles will be coming... sooner or later. You will also notice that I renamed LoZ Related Articles. ^_^ I think considering C_Man's article, that it needed the slight change to be more politically correct. ~ Anyways, for the main feature: the comics are FINALLY back. Why were they gone for so long? Well, over the summer when MCLoZ was down, my computer got a virus and I saved what I could of MCLoZ but the account wasn't big enough for the comics. I "thought" I had the comics on a disk anyway. ... It seems though that I have misplaced that disk. *Sigh* So I had to ask for Zelda Legend's permission to see if they would allow me to use their scans.
COMMENTARY - Ha! See, I was working yesterday. This one was a bit of a pain in the butt since I had to get a few files re-dled off an old geocities account ::pouts:: and the bandwidth kept quitting on me. *Sigh* So, there was a lot of patience in that while I fought to keep from screaming. Phew... hopefully next week will be a lot better in the way of updates.

March 16, 2004 | The Week Of Few Updates - Hey! I'm Entitled To Some, Too!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time *Official Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - Whee, it's an update. I updated!! Yeah!! ^_^ The artwork section for Ocarina of Time is now added. Be sure to tune in Thursday for even more great surprises.
COMMENTARY - Ok... see, it's just a good thing I decided to do my writing assignment early. It's a relatively simple one, but MagicFox is putting all her effort into trying to get it all done. So, that's where I was yesterday as well - especially since my Sunday got taken up. And don't expect any updates tomorrow. I have things scheduled for tomorrow. >_< Don't give me any complaints. I'd like you to find another site that updates as frequently as I normally do. :P I'm entitled to a life as well. ^_^ Well, just be lucky I got this one done today. I pulled some time away from my assignment to do it - prolly not a bad idea anyway since four days on something can start to wear on the mind. Well, Tata!!

March 11, 2004 | Just Like Gure-san, You're Something Of A Poet! -- I'm A Novelist!
UPDATES MADE - *None
CURRENT NEWS - Check up in the Zelda News Menu if you are interested in watching the famous (though maybe not popular) Zelda Cartoons as well as others (like Mario Bros.). ^_^ This will be a real treat for you guys, though you might want to have a high speed connection and you definitely need Windows Meida or RealOne.
COMMENTARY - ^_^ Don't ask about the title... ^_^ it's from "Fruits Basket" one of my favorite animes. Anyways, Mrs. [Maxine] future novelist and world dominator (I WILL conquer the world with my pencil - you just wait and see MWHAHAHA) has received the results of her last writing assignment and not only needs to fix the minor problems to send it in to a magazine and hopefully get it published but also has her next writing assignment to do. Uhh... tomorrow, Saturday, and maybe Sunday, I'm going to take a break from the computer and focus on my writing again so I can get this done. The last assignment, as you can see, turned out to be a deadline cruncher and it ended up being difficult for me. So, sorry loyal MCLoZ fans but you must await my return. My writing is suppose to come first and lately this has been lacking and I need to catch up on it. Well, at least I forwarned you. I'm sorry T-T and I know, I was just putting up nice official artwork and have other things to work on. Don't worry, I will more than likely get on now and again to check my e-mail - so continue sending things in. XD Wheee... ::runs off, arms full of clipboard, paper, pencils, and workbooks::

March 10, 2004 | Announcing "Treat" And Making One More Step To Better MCLoZ
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past *Official Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ So, how do you like it? It's just a start. I'm going to be finally adding some much needed official artwork in the game sections so that those people that ask me if I have any can FINALLY get a "yes" out of me. XD
COMMENTARY - Tch, that was exhausting work getting all of that artwork up. Bleh >_< I didn't even have lunch. I hope you people are happy with what I do around this place. ^_^ Oh, btw, yeah, I got my energy back. Especially when I went re-read my "To-Do:" list and discovered some things that I totally forgot I wanted to do. o_o Tch, simpleton me. -_- *sigh* Thank God I wrote it down. If you come to the site tomorrow, don't be too shocked if you see a few minor adjustments.

March 9, 2004 | It Might Be Small, But It Still Counts As An Update
UPDATES MADE - Meet the MCLoZ Staff *C_Man's Info Added ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *OoT: (#64) "Purple Cuccos!" by Darkblade Shiekah and (#65) "No Eggs from Gohma" by Dethl'sShadow | TWW: (#10) "Automatic Figurines" by Dethl's Shadow and (#26) "Tretra's Room" by ChameleonLizard3 ~ Link's Infinite List of Torture *Items 80-82 by Logan, Yukina, and Dethl'sShadow
CURRENT NEWS - Simply emptying out my mailbox again. A lot of what I'm doing lately is "back-stage" work, getting the Staff Members' work done and up and trying to fight my sudden bout of laziness to start on a treat for you guys. ~ ^_^ More importantly, though, please welcome C_Man back to the staff. If you have known MCLoZ since last summer before we went down, you will know that C_Man use to be part of the staff as a Video Game Reviewer. Now that that section is gone, he hasn't been able to come back, but when he proposed the idea for his article, I thought it was a great idea. Just a tiny section to let gamers know there is a world out there apart from Zelda *gasp*. I found it highly informative, though - but he could have said something a little more exciting about Harvest Moon ^_^ but that's alright. Uhh, and it's located under the LoZ Related Articles. I KNOW it's not exactly LoZ material but it's related in that they are games... ::mutters:: Ok, there was no better place to put it. :P Gimme a break here.
COMMENTARY - Yeah, I'm lazy lately. That glitch was really a pain in the butt and ever since I've been like ... meh... site work... bleh, I'll get it later. So, please be patient with me. I'm sure my energy will return very soon once I get into the feel for this nice "treat" I'm putting together. ^_^ Wheee.

March 8, 2004 | C_Man Returns With Some Groceries
UPDATES MADE - Video Game Score Central*Added
CURRENT NEWS - Yes, believe it or not, the whole time I was away from MCLoZ, I was actually at the grocery store. A heck of a trip, I might add. Of course, I didn't come back empty handed. I managed to nab a decent article (which will have new editions added each month) that covers game scores from six major gaming magazines and three major gaming websites. I also bought some mustard, but Max didn't want to add that for some reason.
COMMENTARY - Okay, okay, I haven't been at the grocery store the WHOLE time. However, I HAVE created an article, and I was serious about what the article covers, but I never gave the whole story. The article also includes my personal opinion about the games released during the current month, and also highlights some future releases. Of course, you COULD just go see what it's like for yourself. Or, you could stare at this update all day. Your decision.

March 4, 2004 | I'm On A Roll Today - I Even Got The GBA Version Information!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Death Mountain Descent *Error Fixed and Completed ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *LttP (#35) "Death Mountain Descent" by MagicFox | FS (#6) "Death Mountain Descent" by MagicFox
CURRENT NEWS - Ok, oops, LOL, when MagicFox was doing the Descent for the first time, she did something wrong. I discovered it and also changed updated the information on the page. I'm sorry! I also just went ahead and completed the page by adding in the Transformation information. And, I even got the information about whether it works on the GBA version - Yep! And in fact was easier for me ::shrugs::. I also listed this glitch in the Oddities page. Please! If you know any glitches that can be performed after this glitch, send them in!! XD I know there were a LOT of them out there.
COMMENTARY - XD I'm pretty impressed with myself today. LOL, at least about the GBA part. In addition to doing all of that, I took a break and put myself in rush mode with my game. I'm the LttP master as I constantly brag about and would you believe me if I said it took me only 20 minutes to get from the beginning of the game, through the first and second dungeons and climbed up Death Mountain and performed BOTH of the glitches. (Which means I had to also get 500 Rupees and Flippers.) XD Max is the MASTA! <_< >_> I think my ego meter just broke, LOL. ^_^ I'm not stuck on myself. Really, I'm not! But geez, though, I wish people would believe me that when I was really addicted to the game that I could get through three playings of it in one day.

March 4, 2004 | I Finally Tried This Glitch - It's Not That Hard, Really. You Try It!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past *Death Mountain Descent Added
CURRENT NEWS - So, what is the Death Mountain Descent? It's a glitch, actually, so in the list you'll find it under the Ghost Glitch. Whee XD We all love glitches, don't we. Now, for those veterans that already knew this glitch, you'll know that there are more things that come with it. Later I'll make another update (maybe in an hour or so) in the Oddities page inviting you guys to send in those following glitches if you know them. And for the next question that comes with it - does it work on GBA? Well, don't worry. I'm going to test it out for you guys. I'll have the answer to that question for you guys tomorrow if not much later today.
COMMENTARY - I had never tried this glitch before, afraid that it might in some way mess up my game, but I'm pretty sure that it shouldn't. No one has ever reported that it could screw up your cartridge - so try it at your own risk. Pretty good though. ^_^ I master it in less than an hour. -_- And I'm terrible with Roms, and those minute moves were horrible trying to accomplish. *Sigh* Oh well, a nicely wonderful glitch for everyone to try now.

March 3, 2004 | What? No Downtime, Yet? I Guess We're In The Clear! Yay!!
UPDATES MADE - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Packaging Artwork *Master Quest Boxart added ~ The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask *Packaging Artwork Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages *Packaging Artwork Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons *Packaging Artwork Added ~ The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker *Packaging Artwork Added
CURRENT NEWS - ^_^ Box art now all up and finished and those pages are looking pretty. If you guys have any boxart you've scanned yourselves and want to send in to me, please do! Along with an explanation as to which one it is and when it was released kind of thing (second boxart released, third, and so on). ~ The next update might be slow in coming. I'm still working on my game to get it to that spot that I need and I'm also working on learning what used to be a well known LttP glitch back in the day so I can teach it to the OoT generation.
COMMENTARY - ::Looks around:: Well, on Zelda Legends' website, Khuffie posted a slight explanation for all the down time. And it would seem that we might be in the clear. *Sigh* I hope so. -_- Downtime just sucks. Well, see you next time folks! Don't forget, my mail box is always open to everyone.

March 2, 2004 | Hrrrm, I Wonder What Servers Those Sites Are On... Strange...
UPDATES MADE - *3 New Feature Pictures Added ~ Zelda Secrets and Oddities *MM: (#40) "Mario Mask" by Dethl'sShadow | TWW: (#23) "Goron Evolution 2" by The Eighth Sage and (#24) "Kill the Boat!" by Dethl'sShadow
CURRENT NEWS - And for the time being that will be all for the feature pictures. .. -_-; Don't laugh at the Fan-Art one. I was very uninspired when creating that one. LOL, so it isn't much. I will try better next time. ~ A note about the surprise: >_< due to a lot of technical issues, it may be possible we're not going to get it until a few more months yet. Hopefully by some force of a miracle this will not be the case but -_- *sigh* ... *sniffles*...
COMMENTARY - LOL, me and a friend/frequent forum visit, Star Bright, noticed something peculiar yesterday. Not only was my site and Zelda Legends down but also Zelda Universe, Great Deku Tree, and Ganon's Tower (I think one more but I can't remember it off the top of my head). And oddly, they were back up when my site came back. <_< >_> Coincidence? LOL. Nah, no point to this, we just found it funny.

March 1, 2004 | Welcome To The Beginning Of A New Month And Design Changes
UPDATES MADE - *New Feature Pictures and Introduction to Main Page Added ~ Past Update Archives *February 2004 Added
CURRENT NEWS - The Fan-Art Gods will strike me down, I know it. Nah, don't worry. I've got an idea what to do for the Fan-Art thing, but anyways, in the original design I had wanted to show off projects, like I always have in my designs. But before it was only a simple paragraph talk and that didn't look right in this design, so recently I decided to make it graphic-wise instead. And voila! Besides, the fan-art thing just wasn't working out. There are currently only three images over there but I'm working on more. ~ And, because I thought the main page needed an intro like most sites have, I put one up. Well... ok, I thought that image was cute and wanted to put it up somewhere. LOL. So sue me!
No, I didn't almost forget this... *lie*... *cough* Anyways, special thanks goes out to February's Guestbook Signers: matt, my name is of no concern, and A Fan Who Devoted His Life to Zelda. Every tiny bit of gratitude and praise out to MCLoZ convinces me to work that much harder for everyone's sake. ^_^ Thank you so much.
COMMENTARY - Hello, March! It's a new month... and don't ask me what the heck was up with today's down time. >_< I'm seriously ticked, too, since I wasn't able to get on to my site to grab a few pictures that I need. (Don't ask.) Bleh. I hope this is the end of all the downtime we've been having recently. *Sniffles*
