Action Items
Action items are used by pressing the A button. Only one can be used at a time and in order to get another you have to find one on a pedastal.

Bombs Bombs are used to blast away at enemies and to open holes in walls where there are cracks. Press the A Button to light a bomb and press the A Button again to throw the bomb. You can quickly detenate them once they land by pressing the A button.

Boomerang This can attack enemies or even stun them allowing you to strike them with your sword. Some items can be brought back to you also by throwing the Boomerang at them, such as rupees, hearts and seeds.

Gnat Hat When Link puts on the Santa-Claus-like hat he shrinks into a small dot on the screen. Allowing you to pass through small holes where he normaly could not fit through.

Roc's Cape With this cape you can jump and fly to places that are normally unreachable. While in the middle of a jump, press the A Button and you can fly farther.

Bow and Arrows Press and hold the A Button to bring out an arrow and build up its power. The longer you hold down the A Button the more powerful the shot will be. It is very effective against enemies that are long away.

Magnetic Glove This item will repel you and pull you to magnetic blocks. After every time you use it, the glove will change its polarity. This item also works on the other players as well.

Pegasus Shoes With these magical shoes, you can charge fast and through your enemies. They will also allow you to run up slopes that are to slick to normally walk up.

Shield The shield can protect you from enemies attacks. There are certain enemies that you have to use this to flip over and then attack them.

Rupees
This game has many types of Rupees. There are three different Rupee colors and each color has two sizes. This affects how much that Rupee is worth. Whoever has the most Rupees at the end of a level wins a Medal of Courage that is displayed on your stats before you open up your game.

Green Rupees The Small Green Rupee is only worth 1 and the Big Green Rupee is worth 50.

Blue Rupees The Small Blue Rupee is worth 5 and the Big Blue Rupee is worth 100.

Red Rupees The Small Red Rupee is worth 20 and the Big Red Rupee is worth 200.
Rupee Shards They are small yellow Rupees that are worth nothing until you collect 8 of them. When you get 8 Rupee Shards it becomes a Rupee worth 500.
Black Rupees Do not get this Rupee! It will scatter away your Rupees so try to avoid it at all costs.
Seeds
Seeds can be found in grass and other locations much like Rupees. Each one will help you in different ways.

Razor Seeds When you collect Razor Seeds they will increase the power of your attacks.

Armor Seeds Collecting Armor Seeds will increase your defense power from when you are hit by enemies.
|
 |
Pegasus Seeds Grabing Pegasus Seeds will increase your walking speed allowing you to outrun the other players.
|
Health Items
These items will help you in your health and allow you to live longer. If a player dies they must pay rupees to bring him back to life.
 |
Heart This will revive one of your hearts when you collect one of these.
|
 |
Fairy A fairy will revive seven of your hearts when you find one.
|
 |
Heart Container A Heart Container will increase your maximum number of hearts by one. The only problem is that unlike other Zelda games, it will only last for the duration of the next level only.
