Biggoron Sword Trade

If anything isn't any more frustrating it is trying to figure out how to do things and where to go! You know, I had no idea that the Biggoron Sword was even in the game? And then when I learned of it, I couldn't figure out where to start and then I needed blasted tips on how to get there!! Well, I'm not too sure if we can give exact tips that could definitely work, but hey, this is what worked for us!

  1. Talk to the Cucco owner in Kakiriko Village. She will give you an unhappy Pocket Cucco that you will need to please. Go into a house that is right in front of the gate to Kakariko. Inside you will find Talon...asleep. Let's wake him up. Then, go back and return the Cucco who is now VERY happy.
  2. Cojiro. Now, what do you do with him? Well, it seems this Cucco is unhappy, too. Why don't we take him back to his owner? You will find him sleeping in Lost Woods to the left of the entrance.
  3. Mushroom. Grrrr....and only a certain amount of time. This one you need to take to a witch in a Potion Shop (does this ring a bell?). She is in Kakariko Village. (Ooops, sorry, no warping. It seems you reach Light Speed in warping and time slows down, so...the mushroom spoils. Here are the directions to take: Head to the short cut into Goron City which takes you to Death Mountain. If you have to, on the way, jump a few cliffs. What's the price of a few hearts when you are going for the ultimate sword?? And don't bother to fight those tecktites. They can't catch you unless you stop! Now, to reach this Potion Shop, go through the Potion Shop that used to be located in Hyrule Market. (Does she look old??) There will be a back entrance. Go through it and then head up the stairs that aren't too far and go into that building. Strange sorta place, isn't it? Well, give that hag the mushroom!!
  4. Potion. Ok, good job. Now...guess what? You get to go back to that guy once again. Now we're having fun, huh? When you get there, don't be startled to find he is gone. But in his place is a stupid little girl (notice she's blonde =) *uhhh...sorry, just a Zelda Blonde Joke*). Anyways, give the Potion to her.
  5. Poacher's Saw. Uhhh, ok, get away from that girl before she creeps you out! Now, next we will have to go to...GERUDO VALLEY!! You need to take the Poacher's Saw to that carpenter guy.
  6. Broken Goron Sword. Ooooh, lovely. Well, you have the sword...alotta good it'll do you. Now, who do you know that can repair a Goron Sword?? Hah! Why not take it to Biggoron on top of Death Mountain? It's worth a shot. Well, a lotta good he does you. Irritated eyes, GEEZ! Seems your own adventures have gotten into the way, wouldn't you say, if that eruption hadn't have happened the Goron would be just fine. Well...one more act of goodness...BLAST!
  7. Perscription. Alright. So, head over to the Octorok infested Zora's River and then to King Zora himself.
  8. Eyeball Frog. Nooooooooo!!! More racing!! Uggg...OK, calm down, we have got a ways to go! If you have trouble here is all the tips we can offer. Epona. Uhh...that was short huh? Yep, gotta have Epona and ride her down to the Laboratory. Hope you have had lotsa practice. But, you should end up right on time.
  9. Eyedrops. NO PRESERVATIVES!! GEEZ!! Now you have the priveledge of racing back to Biggoron. Here are our tips. Epona and a Magic Leaf in front of Dodongo's Cavern. The Leaf will take you up to the path that leads to Biggoron. The rest is up to you. At the steps, make sure you kill the tecktite and the spiders, or the could actually slow you down more than if you just took the time to kill them first.
  10. Receipt. No, no more trading. Just wait three days (wait?? uhhh...don't you have a tune that makes the time go faster?) and then finally give the receipt back to Biggoron. AT LAST!!!
