Four Swords Item Info

Items can be upgraded to level 2 at fairy fountains hidden in various places.

Bombs
Basic Zelda bombs. Can be picked up and thrown. Level-two bombs are extremely powerful.

Boomerang
Can stun and eliminate enemies and pick up hearts and Force Gems. Holding down the A button causes it to stay in position. The level-two boomerang flies farther.

Bow
Has unlimited ammunition. Holding down A results in a more powerful charged shot. The level-two bow shoots three arrows in a row.

Fire Rod
Press A to shoot out a ball of fire, and hold down A to produce a continuous stream. Level-two rod creates blocks. Pressing the A button again causes the block to explode, sending fireballs in four directions.

Lamp
Produces a small field of light in dark areas, and can shoot short-range fireballs.

Magic Hammer
Produces stunning shockwaves when used, and can damage enemies. Level-two hammer produces bigger waves.

Pegasus Boots
Allows you to make long dashes that can attack enemies and shatter cracked blocks. The level-two boots allow you to run over pits in the ground.

Roc's Feather
Allows you to jump. Use the + control pad to change direction.

Shovel
Allows you to dig in order to uncover Force Gems, holes, items, and passages. The level-two shovel emits a beep when buried treasure is nearby.

Slingshot
The Slingshot shoots a small stone that can stun or damage enemies. Holding A produces a charged shot. A level-two slingshot shoots three stones at once.
