Tingle's Tower

Once you beat an entire area and rescue a maiden, return to the area in multiplayer mode to make Tingle's Tower appear. Enter to find eight warp zones, which will take you to eight different games. At first you will only be able to play the first game, but once you beat it, you can go on to the next area and play the next one. Also, if you can get 1000 Force Gems in any game, you will receive a Force Fairy.

Portal Order:
5 6 7 8
1 2 3 4

Game 1: Bucking Bronco

In Bucking Bronco, all players get on horses and have to race against each other and the clock. Along the way, you can pick up Force Gems and speed-increasing carrots. If you can beat the record for low completion time (the default is 50 seconds) Tingle will give you 500 Force Gems. Also, parts of the race take place on the GBA.

Game 2: Cuckoo Wranglers

In Cuckoo Wranglers, you have to pick up rogue Cuckoos and throw them into a pen. One of the Cuckoos is extremely fast, and you will get 300 Force Gems from Tingle if you capture it. You'll know which one it is by the way it blinks. There is a Moon Pearl hidden in the grass at the bottom of the screen, which will allow you to find more Cuckoos in the Dark World. Be sure to throw the Cuckoos in the pen from the bottom, or you may miss it entirely.

Game 3: Hammer Tag

In Hammer Tag, you have to grab a hammer and use it to tag other players. If you hold the hammer for 60 seconds, you lose. If you survive the entire round without being 'it' once, you get 300 Force Gems.

Game 4: Monster Hunting

Monster Hunting is simple. All you have to do is kill as many enemies as possible. Tingle will give each player five Force Gems for every monster he or she kills.

Game 5: Volley, By Golly

Yes, that's the real title. A ball will fly around the playing area, and the Link of the corresponding color must hit it. At the end, the loser will be hit by the ball, and will lose Force Gems.

Game 6: Mole Melee

In MM, moles of various colors will pop up out of the ground, and you have to hit then with the Hammer. Yellow moles count as one point, moles of the same color Link as your player are worth 3, and black moles count as zero and explode if you hit them, stunning your character. The player who hits the most moles of any color other than yellow, black, or their own color is penalized 300 Force Gems.

Game 7: Monster Hunting Returns

Same as Monster Hunting, except with tougher monsters. You get ten Force Gems for each monster killed.

Game 8: Bonus Course

The 8th game is it's own miniature dungeon. In the first room, use the bows to activate switches and create a bridge. In the next room, step on switches to gain access to the next room, which contains three chests, a stairway, and a giant steel ball that will chase after the nearest player. Avoid the ball, open the chests, and go up the stairs. At the top, have different Links push the appropriately- colored blocks to get to the next room. In there, you will find more colored blocks and a switch. Do the obvious and continue on. In the next room, avoid living Force Gems (or defeat them with arrows) and enter the Dark World and activate three switches to expose the exit portal. Go through the nearby door and jump into the pit. Inside the side-scrolling section, there are four cannons that will shoot you out of one of four openings, above which float Force Gems. Go through the next door into the last room and enter the door on the opposite side and you're done. Tingle will give you 20 Force Gems for each dead enemy.
